Smooth Players

Just like football, I am strategically played

If you make a pass, you may stir my interest

But a tackle is sure to incite my defense

Smooth players with golden words

Linemen who carry emotion, not pigskin

These are the ones who score

Touching only my heart as they cross the goal line

enjoyed this liked the way football is worked into this one, of the contest is about football. where do these people keep coming up with these ideals for these contest, good luck . thank you for commenting on Halley's Comet. You being a teacher i would have thought you knew that about Mark Twain, that was one of the first things i learned about him as a kid, in school.

sorry I did Adrea Dietrich just before yours, she is a teacher, so maybe you didn't know not everyone does, and you just take care of your self and do what they tell you, being on the computer is not good for the back.

very good as usual, how are you feeling? Football is a game that I truly like so their, also was going to do an article on the site but basically it a life changing event that happened in my life, Carolyn, not sure but I had a person that started me in this poetry about the Lord and He's not what He seemed to be, so the Trickster did it again, so as my friend, don't be tricked into anything you have doubt about, the Lord says in the Bible" prove all things" Don't even believe me. trust the Lord.
