Breaks there a dream as sad as that of "might-have-beens"
That wakes the morning bright and beautiful
And spends the day in sleep that never ends
A lass with a penchant to please
Spends much of the time on her knees
But, son of a gun,
She finds it grand fun
To see a lad shooting the breeze
Whoever his life spends running after riches, risks his soul, in utter poverty to leave!

There was a young man from Rangou
Who had a bad case of the flu
His plans were all spoiled
So he took castor oil
Now he spends lots of time in the loo
first night—
the soul’s fringe still shining hazily
the last night—
as though knowing time has come
morning comes—
a firefly spends all its light
somewhere down deep, everyone has some kind of love of life. Down deep to the
bare bones of instinct, the mother of all reasons, survival spends it's sway.
The lovely bird locked in his cage
Is starting to show his birdie age.
He no longer spends days
Just thinking of ways
Of expressing his birdie rage.
Spends a lot of change
Making constant change
Achieves little change
Excepts no blame
Plans go up in flame
A never ending game
As the players rarely change
The maestro spends twenty-three hours preparing for a one-hour performance
~ The novice prepares for an hour and spends twenty-three trying to play

If sleep is all of life that man can make
~ No wonder a funeral's called a "Wake!"
My hubby dear does make me smile;

There once was a brash barmaid named Belle
Her virtue she would selflessly sell
she was nicked by the cops
for illegal house stops
She now spends her spare time in a cell
Time is precious and a luxury,

Every person given,equal quota of time,
If a person spends,his time over you,

Timmy was tinkering with a little lock,
When he was spotted by a passing cop,
A judge sent him to jail
And now without fail
