The Flu

There was a young man from Rangou
Who had a bad case of the flu
His plans were all spoiled
So he took castor oil
Now he spends lots of time in the loo

Hi Curits! It WAS YOU..YOU R THE CASTOR OIL POET!! I love it when poets don't put their names on their entries. It makes it much more enjoyable to judge! Anyways..one of the guy judges thot you were from Europe bc of your reference to the LOO. The final round judging was over ice cream and coffee at the ice cream parlor..it was a great time and they want to do it again..Oh my! I thot it was suspenseful and stressful both bc I wanted everyone to win 1st place! Hugs to you. And yes,....I am doing great! Gwendolen

You're right, Sara, it's not used any more, but I'm old enough to remember what it was like. It would certainly cure a cold real quick as well as aid in getting rid of the flu. Of course, the side effects were the worst problem. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
