Tears of Pain
Unstoppable flow that ease this heart of mine
It lessens the weight that I carry
It helps my heart not be drowned of pain
It calms me then through snoozing...

Boredom
It is a map
It is a riddle
It is a chase
It is a compass

It is in
It is out
It is in between
It is a diagram

It is coming
It is going
It is waking
It is snoozing...

Premium Member Perusing
It's not amusing
But very confusing
When your muse isn't musing
Simply refusing
To muse

It's not of my choosing
My mind I am losing
I'm constantly snoozing
My brain needs infusing
To muse...

Age is just a number, in my case, a dirty big number As a young'un, thought old people needed a plunger To keep things moving In spite of the snoozing Long as we're still able to jump out of our jumper

Premium Member Grasshopper and Ants
Grasshopper and the ants were having a laid-back day
They did what they wanted, snoozing and snoring away
The meadow was breezily uplifting, sharing her grasses.
I like being here with my friends, the lads and the lasses....

Premium Member Sitting and Shmoozing
While most Soupers are snoozing
I'll be sitting in a shaky hut, shmoozing

Half-wishing that I were warm and cozy inside
    Yet mostly glad to abide

by the precepts of Sukkoth, which require
me to live in that hut '24/7' ~ though not expire!...

Summer Sleep
Search'ng dandelions yearns int'rmittently
Hoping with sudden startled jealousy
And snoozing a loudly in ecstacy
Whilst summer sleeps quietly into shine
And morning sings with symphonic splendor
The sunshine closes into purple rays
Reflections dancing across still water...

Winter's Aftermath
Winter's Aftermath

Soft snowy scapes sizzle sheets
           Romance bubbles in warm arms
                  Snoozing, Snuggling and kissing
                                         Brrr! Baby boom blasts!

Premium Member Snoozing With a Cat
My cat Jeff snuggles when I hit the hay

He's strong-minded and always has his way

He snores as I try to doze

         His whiskers tickle my nose

I'm sleepless while he snoozes night and day

Difficult
Still alone here
you still alone there,
pleasure I found in you
my peace, lost without you

the pains from a distance
snoozing amongst the guilt
the things you do _ for instance
casting down the castle _ we
built.

you can’t live without care
can’t be without hurt
but at least a heart to bear
and a life of trust....

Premium Member Bad Dog
A very bad dog is our Scout.
Especially if food is left out.
If it's there he don't care,
Neither what, when nor where,
It soon finds it's way to his mouth.

He waits until no one is looking.
His keen nose can tell what you're cooking.
He makes sneak attacks,
When you turn your back,
Then pretends all the while he was snoozing....

Note To Self
Greatness is not just for the special,
It is nothing unique,
Nothing complex.
Greatness is people with courage,
It is passion put to work,
It is inspiration.
Greatness is motivation,
Not snoozing the alarm is great,
Giving a stranger lift is,
Great is achieving the goal,
Greatness is living through pain.
It is not destiny,
But it is extraordinary.
Be smart.
Be noble.
Be you.
Be great....

Premium Member A Porch Harboring King and Queens
warmly protected by the Sun Goddess
I sleep in the sun on my couch
on my porch in the middle of God’s country

my dog and cat are snoozing at my feet
pretending they are not friends, butt to butt
we are content, feeling loved

watched over by deities who
argue over who will take the next shift
so well loved we are content

the queen of the porch growls
startling the king and I...

At the Party
tequila worm faces dabble in Dali.

I depart for deeper woods,
take matches
to a snoozing clown—

watch moonbeams become the vortex of a raw swarm.

I must wait for pesky dawn roulette angels
to spin into black pockets,

try to hold these blurred poses of planet plentiful
as the sound of seventh son's tambourine
drifts from the hysterical sea

where Van Gogh's ear is a conch shell....

Premium Member The Sleeping Tree
in the afternoon in the woods of prey
slept an owl, a dragon, and a bear named Ray
A squirrel and a boy came along this way
They were soon snoozing as was a girl named Fay

A fawn could not help it, she soon closed her eyes and lay
next to the sleeping tree on that snoozy whoozy windy day
a wily rabbit stopped hopping, and decided to stay
it was the best sleeping tree in the woods of prey...

Premium Member Sophie Teaches Me To Nap
Not wanting to nap is almost impossible today
Sophie dog is older, a black cocker, and naps most of the time.
As I sit at my computer, freezing, she lies at my feet snoozing.
Each Z she cuts reminds me that curling up under covers sounds good.
School is cancelled, for we have four fresh inches of new snow.
My feet are freezing. Either I get on another pair of socks or
I curl myself around Sophie Dog and cut my own Z’s....

Surreal Dream
Searching for pot of gold
Yearning in wishful, somnolent
Having vision with sudden
Startled, stargazing, jealousy
And snoozing, a loudly, in ecstacy
Whilst, summer sleeps, quietly into shine
And morning sings, with symphonic splendor
The sunshine closes into purple rays
My mind reflections dancing
Being moonstruck up in clouds
Dreaming, building castles in air
In marvel, flight, fancy
Of summer pie in the sky...

Judging You
And there was the youth, the age, the reflection;
Because all to one is two-
the success
of my happiness,
and the pitfalls of the others.

I don't wish for misery,
but I'm inclined to pass
toward the end.

Snoozing as underdog,
my nail beds burning
through my rotting scalp,
cheer me on, cheer us on.

Your wrinkles will tell cruelty pleasures,
Your eyes will carve out light
wrists locked back, head bowed.
There is no hiding in plain sight....

Premium Member Ban the Banter
Life as we know it
Is spiralling out of control
It’s all become so precious
What will be the end goal?

Don’t say this ,don’t say that
Offence will be taken
Please don’t mention gender
As you could be very mistaken

Life’s no longer simple
Now totally confusing
Can’t afford to rest on your laurels
Or be caught snoozing

Next ,it will be ban the banter
No more jokes to be told
So we can all become robots
Totally controlled ….....
