Sitting and Shmoozing

While most Soupers are snoozing
    I'll be sitting in a shaky hut, shmoozing
 
  Half-wishing that I were warm and cozy inside
    Yet mostly glad to abide

    by the precepts of Sukkoth, which require
  me to live in that hut '24/7' ~ though not expire!

I found this poem Delightful. Sukkoth is familiar to me& I know some of the wilderness story but I, too, could use a deeper schmoozing. €€:-) poor Jesu has only Christmas & Easter officially. Zip for the longer times of his travels & teaching. ((Advent, Lent r 4 preparation & schmooz about Our souls, not his. Go deep, friend;God even schmoozed over tears of the wanderers!

That is great you are doing that Gershon. The exodus from Egypt they were in the wilderness in the tents. You honor your past and heritage. I hope it is not too cold my friend. Stay warm and be blessed by your actions...
