Sad Slosh Slides

one
too many
for the road
as the driver stumbled
to the coffin-black car
the sky's stomach rumbled
wet black tar
to fast
end

Voiceless

The words rumbled inside,
Lingering at the back of my throat,
Entangling my vocal chords
You have made me voiceless again.

Heartache of Beauty

HEARTACHE OF BEAUTY

Distant Thunder rumbled
Grabbed my sinuous wanton sunbeam
Who left without a kiss

If I Had My Time Over Again

If I had my time over again
I wouldn't eat that take out.
My stomach rumbled in the den
And diarrhea I had no doubt.
I ran quickly to the toilet.
Unfortunately, I didn't make it.

Would You Like An Artichoke

There was once a real funny bloke
That could tell a silly joke
                One day rumbled
               Then he stumbled
Because of a large green artichoke

By the Streetlamp

on our way back from a trip, got down by the bright streetlamp. hunger raged, bowels rumbled. the inviting smell of food, wafted from nearby cafe. noodles and spicy meat fry, with a cup of steaming tea, titillated our palate.

All For You

The sky rumbled
The wind whispered
Trees swayed
Leaves rustled
Birds happily flew around
The sea bubbled
Faster waves raged
Vessels swayed
Fishes joyfully leaped
From the blues you surfaced
Such a heavenly sight you formed
That I fell, tumbled and rolled
All for you.

Just a Smile

Just a smile
That was all it was,
And my heart missed a beat,
My stomach rumbled,
As if butterfly filled,
I missed a step,no,two
I stumbled,my pants-very stained,
I looked up and-
She was gone!
There I was,
Down to earth,
Visibly shaken,
My God!
All these, for her smile?

Ghost Lover

He
Whispers
Poetic words
In the heat of love
Dreaming of tomorrows truth
I fall onto a hopeless dream

Awaken
By the emptiness
Of rumbled bed sheets
The song birds singing on window sills
As the sun rises yet again and again and again
Coffee cup filled with tears, loneliness fills the years

Looming

I saw the curtains dancing to be beat of the wind
I saw the sun excreting snow
And moon bleeding fire

I saw love crying
As humanity fades away in the speed of light
My heart rumbled ferociously with massive earthquakes in sight
And my soul pants bitterly as humanity walks closer to its doom

Dawn Storm

On dawns gray steps
small birds carry seeds of light
in their beaks -
they sing
among the still shaking spears
of a passing storm.

It was here
that the sky reared up
like a maddened horse,
here it was
that black clouds
raged and rumbled.

The morning for a while
is now a fragile nest
but a nest, nevertheless.

Impromptu

i woke to
the rapid
fire of rain
a Chinese
water torture
test testing itself
on the roof above
my forehead then

came lightning always
followed by thunder
never one without
the other as my
stomach rumbled
waking empty but
i being a primitive
man hid

back
under
covers
fearing
to face
the day
and or
nature

A Dark Stormy Night

It was a dark stormy night, and I was trying to
sleep as the thunder rumbled and lightning flashed.
as if I was being photographed by the sky, while the
storm progressed with more tortureous and thunderous
rumbles . The fear of the sky that held the clouds of
darkness rolling over my house, harassing me while
I tried to sleep...

Unhinged

I ate myself the other day
Unhinged my jaw and chomped away
No crumb was left after I dined
No limbs, or head, or crooked spine
Each bite I took was bittersweet
Laced with love and shamed defeat
I didn't even say goodbye
To all I loved and held so high
My tummy rumbled, so then I ate
What was left of me,
That you didn't take

Rainfall At Nightfall

It was stark dark,
A little after dusk.

Thunderclouds rumbled,
And heavy rain tumbled.

Children had fled from their playground,
Driven by the dismal sound.

But the aged knew better,
When a young one shook like a feather.

Home everyone went-
Each child with a parent;

Waiting for the hour of woe,
For the world had soon become a foe.

Clouds

Clouds rolled
 then hovered overhead
waiting on the wind to catch up
 pass by then race away
while billowy puff clouds stayed,
 as images began to form
 darkened gray unicorns
sky filled with fire breathing dragons
the sun alone and lagging,
then a rumbled flash of light displayed
 flushed the clouds of rain
 slowly pushing the storm away.

Fallen Angels

The blood rains down this gloomy day
The angel whispers upon my face
Her halo crumbled to the fiery pits
below The heavens rumbled and
screamed as the devil arose
He grasped her wings she wimpered
and cried knowing that hell was
coming alive The tears streamed down her
face as she fell from grace never to return
her wings would surely burn.

Rumbled

I am going to write a funny poem
Because I am tired
Yeah that's why
Zzz do you know what that is?
But how come I don't?
Grumble am I?
Hide will you?
Grrr
Bummed out?
Just for you
In your dream lol
Tumbled
Great
Hmm
Hot cycle, will ya?
Heat is what I need haha
Grrr
Get your thinking straight
Not
Hmm
Gee
My feet are tired
Yup
Hmm
Huh?
Gee

Love Is Evolution

on the night that i was born a storm formed while the sun slept...
my mother left me scorned in her womb as the moon wept...
darkness filled the room as i emerged from my cocoon fresh....
i rumbled heavens floors as a roar replaced my first breath...
Thunder made me humble as i slumbered in my vortex...
Dangers in abundence when the beast is at your door step...

Light Always Returns

After the heavy rain, the sun came out
Leaves stuck to the shining, wet, pavement
Others glistened in patches on the lawn
The brook rumbled fast, like a river
At high level, it is racing somewhere
It is time for things to dry for a while now
As the brightness brings pleasant relief
              Light always returns
Know this, live by this, to spread all you can!

My Thought's of Pearl Harbor

During the time of our sleep
When not even mice would make sounds
The planes they did creep
Hunting their targets like savage hounds
And when they struck
The ground it rumbled
There was no time to duck
As the ships crumbled
Men and women died that day
Which made many families blue
They had awaken the USA
Even though we started World War Two
That day in December 1941
A new strenght had been born

A Stroll To the Bakery

Clouds swirling, bird circling
The Heavens rumbled, heaved a sigh
Ventured forth a lad, he bore no Cross
Through angry streets, refuse-tossed

Flies buzzed 'round him, fetid friends
Night air crackled, 'neath ammunition's lens
The lad strained hearts for a crust or crumb
Hope lay dormant, her voice struck dumb...

Bled dry, they covered him, face down in a gutter
War's verdict sealed, its unutterable utter

agony

a shriek,
a high-pitched scream echoed against the walls,
lightning flashed,
thunder rumbled deep and hard into my chest.
 pain,
	tightness,
		ache,
			sorrow.
it cannot be real, this is not happening, I cannot believe it.
to never again see,
talk,
hug,
love on,
		joke,
dance.
our son was –
our only boy was –
our eldest child was –
our headache was –
our heart was –
our angel is –
forever 26.

The Day Reborn

I heard the wind scouring trees
As around my head danced whirling leaves,
In the sky, the clouds they raced
Scudding, at some graceless pace.

The wind gave voice, in manic howlings
As chimney pots surrendered cowlings,
Any hope of calm now cast asunder,
For in the distance, rumbled thunder.

A crack, a flash, blinding, bright,
Lightning sparked to my delight,
Who is not humbled by a storm,
For 'tis the day, being reborn.
