Light Always Returns

After the heavy rain, the sun came out Leaves stuck to the shining, wet, pavement Others glistened in patches on the lawn The brook rumbled fast, like a river At high level, it is racing somewhere It is time for things to dry for a while now As the brightness brings pleasant relief Light always returns Know this, live by this, to spread all you can! We did get heavy rain overnight. The brook has risen, just about overflowing here on this street. Thank you for the kind comment Tom. :)
