Premium Member The Flag of Yorkshire

Just a special white rose
reposed in a sea of blue sky,
together our pride flutters in the wind.

Premium Member Winter Chalice

It was on that quiet night, while all the roses rested and reposed
that the angels appeared in the Chalice of winter's bright lit snow

A Coffin Is a Small Domain

When laid inside from end to end.
And there a box reposed my friend.
When heaven's ground is not of earth.
Fear not your God, he knows this worst.

Sunken Rose Garden

She sits surrounded
By the romance of roses.
Close to being great,
A lady, at last.

On the milky viranda,
Along the perrfume path,
Like the dew drenched flower,
Reposed and waiting.

A Home's Doors

Think, as with all doors
What behind on, closed
This, first out-stepping life for.
Home! When heart-reposed.

None, breathless, dying
But anticipate
As whom back, for love's warm hug
Run through the dark, late.

Halo

Before I am reposed at last, weave me a crown of flowers
So for when I pass death's threshold, I might carry life
For the rotting halo I wear might turn me into an angel
And my decomposing body to have a companion

Premium Member Rise Early For the Coast

To get the most from summer trip to coast
start early dosed up with coffee and toast,
avoiding almost, the hot sunburn roast,
an uttermost certainty on seacoast,
when lying reposed in slumber engrossed,
you sleep well post noon, with your tardy host.

Premium Member Earth Woman At Heart

An earth woman at heart, she reposed in the sycamore tree
Enjoying the undeniable smell of freshly mowed grass,
And the unmistakable aroma of Auntie Mazie’s apple pie
This is my happy place, she thought, not yet knowing
That some days she would relive this moment over and over

Premium Member The Fall of Winter Night

The reclined leaf sees its color change as it waits for the fall
My reposed life in autumn twilight watches the cold sun sink
The void sky turning grey tells me the winter night would fall soon.

Sleep

She is laid to rest
In a nest
Not of her own making
Her eyes are closed
She knows nothing, reposed
Disposed
Of collective unconsciousness
She is sans work
Or waiting
She is surrounded by her visions
Both haunted and healing
She dreams
And her life is lost in the land of brain waves

Premium Member Reclining Rose

Reposed in shadows within a realm of colors dusty rose gown blurs. All the flowers she adores ~ as gold love's beamed out of doors. Green and purple blooms are always in her warm face ~ 'til she sinks in grace. Exquisite pinks golds and blues fade out, as plum night ensues.

Blossoming For Growth

Sunshine and roses
    bright and Reposed
Blossoming and pleasing
    growth is Exposed
Rustling up in breezes
    flows a flowery Prose
A love whispers gently
    collecting in morning Dew
Opening petals of bllssful
    purely abiding in View
Tending a garden so true
    this field is Renewed

Premium Member Faeries Favorite Time of Day

Her wings hold her lightly above
the coneflowers her favorite
She glided down onto a promising one
with bright pink petals
the dew causing a shine

Faerie’s favorite time of day
sun began reaching out with long loving fingers
Faerie reposed on the pretty blossom
Turing her face to the sun,
a gorgeous peace overflows her.

Premium Member trying to take a luxurious old persons nap

Tuesday of last week was humdrum said Cap
I had to take a luxurious old person’s nap
Boredom put me down hard, I reposed in a stream
Ready for an exciting adventuresome dream

My body loved it so much, he wanted another
But alas, I was awakened by my hundred-year-old-mother
Did you feed the chickens? The horses? The sheep?
I had to leave my castle and surrender my sleep.

Premium Member Of Heaven and Hell

The fabric was already woven,
fine silk
the essence.
On the way out I looked
	for a door,
found silk,
a cocoon.

Then I heard a key
	turning in a lock
and looked.
There beneath a fire breath
an alarm was screaming.
Demons were pleading,
Let me out!

I looked again
and angels reposed
	singing very softly.
The lyrics, the words
	were kind,
and the instruments
played harmony.

Premium Member Peaceful Meadow Dreamscape

Peaceful meadow felt like consecrated ground.
Barely a noise, one songbird’s tweets.
Lovelier on this summer morning than I could have imagined.
I reposed in the grass, smelling lavender nearby.

Lying on my back, communing with the sun,
I felt like God had created this dreamscape especially for me.
A blue dragonfly zipped into my view, then gone.
Her presence verified my feeling; consecrated ground.

Premium Member Loovly House

Look at the loovly garden!
Narry a thorn there scratches.
Look at the loovly birds!
A peeping chick soon hatches.
Look at the loovly house!
Such loovly locks and latches.

A loovly family inside.
In nightgowns lacking patches!
Each retires to loovly beds.
As I light loovly matches!
Come morning see the loovly dead.
Reposed upon the ashes!

"Loovly House" was in FANTASY & TERROR 4, 1984.

Premium Member The Blooming

The mind reposed
in the muck
of the ocean floor,
waiting to be born.

The riddle of life
came out of the mud.
The ghosts
inhabit us all.

The origins,
the bloom of verdant fields,
the vertebrates:

They crawled;
they stood;
seeing in a clear pool
an image
they knew.

They drank the salt water,
lifted the cup,
knew joy in the sunrise,
found life was sweet
and death was
the turbulence
of the water.

Premium Member Angels Lullaby 2 - Nursery Rhyme

Come, come my sweet let's go to bed,
Now that you've eaten all your bread,
The room is so cosy and warm
And sure nothing will give you harm.

Let's dim the light and close your eyes,
And strong you'll be when you arise
Sleep and dream of heaven my babe
Up among stars of perfect shape.

Imagine angels flying round
They all sing lovely music sound.
Ah now your eyes are sweetly closed,
Dream of heaven and be reposed

Premium Member Damper Waves

Do you recall that hut beside the shore?
It shook at dawn, to rhythm toss of waves.
We lolled in cycle round of driven love,

so young and pure of heart, we teased in love
without a clue of caution sign on shore.
We failed to see how angry rose the waves,

reposed inside till swept to sea in waves.
Beset by fear without one thought of love,
we prayed the wind propel us back to shore.

Love's ardor drowns if shore's awash in waves.

Premium Member A Tiger No Worse

She reposed in the greenest shadows, her ankles fat
Flexing her well-trained muscles like an enormous cat
We felt ourselves being watched but did not know
It was spring elf woman, until her eyes began to grow

A tiger! A puma! A lion! We were guessing like mad.
If it had been one of them we would have been rather glad.
Spring elf woman has a reputation of being incredibly mean.
So far things were okay, because she has remained quite unseen.
