Peaceful Meadow Dreamscape

Peaceful meadow felt like consecrated ground. Barely a noise, one songbird’s tweets. Lovelier on this summer morning than I could have imagined. I reposed in the grass, smelling lavender nearby. Lying on my back, communing with the sun, I felt like God had created this dreamscape especially for me. A blue dragonfly zipped into my view, then gone. Her presence verified my feeling; consecrated ground.
