Sleep

She is laid to rest
In a nest
Not of her own making
Her eyes are closed
She knows nothing, reposed
Disposed
Of collective unconsciousness
She is sans work
Or waiting
She is surrounded by her visions
Both haunted and healing
She dreams
And her life is lost in the land of brain waves

Nicely written work. I like the line She is surrounded by her visions. Keep writing. Sara
