Pickled Spider

Now, wasn't it sad about Snyder,
The light hearted, fun loving spider?
He got a gnat in his eye,
While pursuing a fly,
And fell into a barrel of cider.

Juicy

Succulent lamb chops, so thick,
Small and fantastic.
So tender, little hostess!
Perfect Brussels sprouts,
Pickled red cabbage,
Whipped cream and-
Fruit!

Wine Haha

I... don’t mean to waste your time,
But... boy dose me wife bloody whine.
Do this, do that,
The miserable old bat
I found peace when I pickled her in brine

Breath of Love

I had some pickled onions,
With stilton cheese and garlic bread:
This breath of love is just for you!
(Although you gag and turn your head…)

Pickles That Tickles

Pickled farts I gotta let you know
If it tickles when it comes out your hole
You better beware
When you stare down there
You probably pebble dashed the toilet bowl

Hauled

in that
shopping
cart,

tearing the
pavement
with riotous
laughter

even after
those wheels
caught that
crack

sending you
sprawled into
the pickled
night.

Kim-Chee

Cabbage is pickled in a glass jar with plenty of red pepper. Buried underground, it lies undisturbed as it ferments away. It takes several months of aging before what we have is Korean “kim-chee“.

A Pickled Piper

Peter Piper picked a peck
Of pickled peckers...
After the laughter subsided
I was in a peck of trouble,
In a real pickle so to speak.
Thank god he wasn't a woodchuck.
I'd still be saying Hail Mary's.

Loud Tongue Exercise

Peter Piper
Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked.
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,
How many pickled peppers did Peter Piper pick?

I Shed Blood On Your Decorated Tomb

bluish seagulls encroach
the greenish out fields of
torture bestowing the lamented
souls pickled thoughts
bizarre regiments of
curious wants bombarding
the elements of vernacular needs
i shed tears of blood
on your decorated tomb

Pickled Herring In a Pie

Pickled herring in a pie?
Scrumptiously delicious. Do or die?
The idea makes me ask grandma why….
Do you use wheat or rye?

Marmalade makes it a great buy.
The combination is easy to try.
Mustard too and will we need to fry
Pickled herring in a pie?

Food

Food is good
Food is great
Ok, food is life
I love food
I’ll eat any kind
Sour or sweet
Spicy or salty
Bitter or juicy
I eat it all..
As long as it is not pickled cabbage
I eat cheese and bacon
I eat pasta and apples
Food is good
Food is great
Food is life

What I Like

Don’t you know I like things sweet?
Sewage water and pickled feet
Noses that run like Kenyan jocks
And year old milk that’s kept in socks
Don’t you know I like things wild?
Little old ladies with crocodiles
Butterflies and taser guns
Grizzly bears that have the runs

To Leave Behind

What a good question is this,
I read it on Facebook's blip,
What, Willie Nelson does ask.
Are teen leaving us? The task!
Old Willie and Keith Richards, lo!
They really need to know,
Pickled on booze, sex and drugs,
No healthy vegie juice to chug,
Aging is a blast, free hugs!

A Whiter Shade of Ale

I've been told,
I'd be the white spot,
On a set of pure white sheets,

Last blood test came up,
40% Budweiser I am told,
I will surely be well pickled,
No matter how many years old,

The waiter brings a tray,
We call out for more drinks,
All that I gotta' say,
That this life surely stinks.

Easter On the Cape Flats

On Good Friday after church we eat
curried pickled fish and hot crossed buns
and drink black coffee because we share
in the painful agony of the Lord.
On Easter Sunday after church we braai *
meat and drink like fish and rejoice
in the victory over death and grave.

* (rhymes with "bye" ) - barbeque / barbecue

Words Lost

Speak silence sweet
Glimpse grandeur greet

Wordless wise wit
Freeze fumbling fit

Dazzle dream dwell
Sign sacred spell

Prime pickled poise
Nude numbing noise

Stillness spreads sway
Silence strokes say

Weary words wait
Blushing blooms bait

Vaxxibillions

VaxxiBillions

The majority of splendid minds
the minority a jar of pickled brains
over six billion shots
freedom to live
not die of ignorance

Without, most would not even be here
I remember the black plague
of the 1600's
people were stupid back then
death fed on them

ignorance is the twin of evil

Jagged Conversations

Jagged conversations incomplete lines
Importance of understanding null~void
Oh! Self-centered heart upon thyself dine
Jagged conversations incomplete lines
Scent of rancid fish cast in pickled brine
Only your stories, other stories avoid
Jagged conversations incomplete lines
Importance of understanding null~void

Moribund

The sad wakes leaving
Yes………… only petals of
A yellow tulip—pickled in a rose bed grieving
The loss of morning
The mortician's flower Strewn room sees
Roses bloom
And petal
Gaily
The river rides them
And the water dyes them
Black and Sadly its eyes
Are grimly weeping
Into the bank
Waking The bees to buzzing

Sushi

Wife desired some Japanese

     Sushi if you please

          Seaweed wrapped 'round octopus

               Pickled ginger plus

                    Some mackerel raw

                         Salmon jaw

                              Yuck!
