A Pickled Piper

Peter Piper picked a peck Of pickled peckers... After the laughter subsided I was in a peck of trouble, In a real pickle so to speak. Thank god he wasn't a woodchuck. I'd still be saying Hail Mary's. 2/15/2020

Delightfully humorous - I love that I didn't see it coming. I was humor grabbed and I loved the feeling. Very clever - I laughed out loud or, rather, I loled aloud? I don't know but congratulations are in order and deserved and my pleasure to leave in this rectangle. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

Two thumbs way up, John. This charming pickle of a poem flows so well that I kept looking for the word that rhymes with '(Hail) Marys!' Cheers, Gershon

John, I was a truck driver for over 20 years and truck drivers call rest areas, "pickle parks" They seem to think people there are " jerkin their gherkin" ( a gherkin is a small sweet pickle) Now I suppose I should say a few Hail Marys:) Thanks for the laugh.

G'day John … just as well you weren't reciting the pheasant plucker tongue twister. Crikey, you'd be forever quoting hail Mary's - thanks John - Lindsay
