Larry Randolfson was a brain physician
who soon wore himself out in that position.
Getting inside live minds

Consoling Advice

In view of my threatening condition,
I thought it best to speak to a mortician.
“Do not concern yourself unduly,”
he said, “unlike those of your physician,
my services are one-time only.”...

A physician can possibly maim.
Being ill-informed, one that I blame
Cares not for real knowledge
Despite years of college.
“Erroneous” should be his last name.

I deplore the physician named Fauci.

His opinions are making me grouchy.

Goggles next we should wear?

In his office I'd dare

not let him observe my mere ouchie.

Premium Member Your Support I Need
The physician offered no hope, But why did you push me away? You only said you couldn’t cope To watch me decline, fade away. As I approach my final day, I long for a place in your heart. I wish some support you’d impart. This path is not one I had planned And it’s not my choice to depart. Please offer me a loving hand.

Night Arrives
NIGHT ARRIVES.

Night arrives at the sunset
Bringing relief to tortured souls
Lost travellers on life’s journey
Tired like wounded feebled folks.

It sends its physician, the sleep
To enchant sufferings into a lull
Soothing embalming painful stripes
There releasing souls into easeful zest.
And then
Beyond cure into some temporary rest

SIR CUMFERENCE OF CAMELOT
Sir Cumference of Camelot
Could eclipse the sun in the sky
With the bulk of his obesity
Though he didn’t know why
His physician warned him that
Left unchecked he would die
But he had a hearty appetite
And that was the reason why
Sir Cumference of Camelot
Could eclipse the sun in the sky
And the immensity of his girth
Was caused, by too much pi

Dregs of the Cup
Straining to swallow the remedy,
Thick like blood with the stinch
Of gall mingled with death
And the after taste of pleasure-
None running out the corners
Of his mouth- the Physician drank
The bitter cup, enduring the sting
And curdled abominations stirred
With grievous residue at the bottom
Of the cup, and became tannic acid
On the Tree for the sick in the world.

Premium Member DISCIPLINE WAS A GOOD MEDICINE
The quite teenager went to school on foot,
never was late or tried to cheat on any test;
he ate fruits and veggies and stayed lean...
realizing that discipline was a good medicine.

Years went by and he became a physician;
many diseases he cured, even eye vision,
but his schoolmates frequented hotel rooms that smelled of booze...
they had unprotected sex and snorted cocaine: weren't they the losers?...

Three Wishes
In my youth appeared a star
I wished that it would send a car
Then I thought to throw a penny
And hoped for riches full and plenty

Once I used a candle and cake
To stop and cure a heart ache
Still many a time at bedside
I looked for a shining light to guide

Today I’m older with no superstitions
And seek the ways of a good physician
One who is magical and will share
How he plans to bring back my hair
