I am no doctor
Yet I do some research on health 
Scary - isn't it!

Not scary at all. I have been mis-diagnosed so many times by doctors and medications have taken their toll on my vital organs so, it pays to do your own research before you agree with any physician. Unique Senryu.

Not as scary as being treated by some of my doctors I have had recently!! YOu probably know more than THEY do

Once I had an infection on my toe and a doctor wanted to amputate part of my foot. I said oh no you won't and it healed. If I had listened to him I would be hobbling around with a cane. Of course doctors have saved my life. We need them - but one must be ready to question them if needs be. I try to live a healthy lifestyle - I did NOT as a teenager. But I have made it to 63 which is more than a lot of people do. My maternal and paternal grandmothers made it to their mid 90's - that is a hopeful sign. My father - who was a great piano player - made it to the "ripe but disappointed" age of 81. My mother works 4 days a week for a Democratic councilman - and she is 84!!
