Physician, Heal Thyself

You go the doc
He puts you in shock
  'You will get worse
  before you get better'
You have a right to squawk

Docs cannot afford us to get well. I understand needing one, now and then....I stay away. The Covid test is BS. Great moneymaker., for the medical field. Hospitals have Mersa and pneumonia...the strongest strains. Be well.. He olde Chicagoan, Pangiexx

Ha, ha! Me, too. I go only when absolutely no other way to solve a problem. Docs usually either don't solve it or make it worse anyway. Last year, I had a sudden growth, like a tennis ball, on my elbow. Doctor drained 33 cc of blood, but wouldn't prescribe antibiotic for healing the area! Unbelievable. Had to use bacitracin. Now I have a permanently bruised-looking elbow. lol. Just call me 'Dick the Bruiser.' :) gw

The AMA interpret that as heal thy bank account FIRST, so curing people is a fault! Profit is made by prescribing sugar pills and follow-up visits! Well said! Aloha! Rico

This morning's newspaper reports hospitals refusing to bill Medicare because it is more profitable to attach liens on a patient's property for the full amount. Greed obviously now warrants religious approval! Aloha! Rico

You are so right... Profit is also made by unnecessary surgeries, by charging more when insurance companies reimburse more -- costs of a C-section, for example, can be as high as $60K with one insurer and as low as $6k with certain Medicare plans. It's all about the money for many, I guess... Take care, Rico.
