Who reached for you
and found you gone?
You never knew
who reached for you.
One night will do
you want come dawn,
who reached for you
and found you - GONE!
We have eternity
Lambent before us
Like a snowflake.
Mortality
A one night stand,
A forged signature.
And the slender stream of ink
Slithers along the pages we found.
We write!
Stunning beauty her face really was!
She was shaped more like a lovely vase.
Never for a one night stand!
Booze brewed my sins in bare hands!
Beer dragged my shame under my wife's claws.
Alcohol whispered lust to me firsthand,
I mistook my wife for a one night stand,
Drunkeness brought me the blame
Beer! Why put me into shame?
Booze then made me cry dry, tears of my gland.

I am again in the position of allowing another to use me

Love is elusive,

and covers them,

who when the sun rises,

Melted snow flakes fall like tears,

So much alike
They feast together

Sight of him sent me eerie sense of déjà-vu
That I neither could comprehend, shed or explain.
Perpetual puzzling question was what, not who -

But one day this fog of ignorance cracked open:

I do not want to be
a one night stand,
smoke before the fire-
something on the side-
the other woman.
The other woman-
has time to waste.
The secret rendezvous,
motel rooms, small
gifts. A little of
your time, just
is not enough to build
a life on.
