Premium Member Not Even An Hm

I stayed up all night writing a ditty
One I really thought was quite witty
When the results came in
Yep, no placement, no win
My rhyme and meter were shown no pity…

Premium Member No Win Situation

They who do not study history
are doomed to repeat it repeatedly.
I do study history and I'm doomed to helplessly,
stand by and watch history get repeated by so many so blindly.
All in all, it's definitely a no win situation for me.

Premium Member -Edge of Darkness

He sits on the edge of darkness
Not knowing what to choose
Leave here or stay a while longer
He sees no win or lose!

He stands ,looks into the blackness
Now having made his choice
He hears a slight commotion
Then a gentle voice……!

A No Win Situation

Time ran out, winner’s fans took to the field
But a ref pushed them back; forced them to yield
   A flag had been thrown
   And how fans did grown
A field goal was kicked; victory repealed

This actually happened in one of the football games I saw
last year.

Premium Member A Loaded Question

"Do these pants make me look fat?"
That's not the first time a woman has asked me that.
It's a loaded question which I don't respond to anymore.
Once that question is asked I'm right out the door.
It's a no win scenario I've often said.
If I answer "No" I'm a liar.
If I answer "Yes" I'm dead.

Premium Member I Do Not Want You Burning Stuff

I do not want you burning stuff, my husband says
this is tantamount to waving a red flag in front of a bull
you already set fire to the dumpster he reminds me
not once or twice, but twenty-six or seven times
I do not reply, because a reply would be a no-win.
I believe in a win-win; especially after my husband goes to bed
I stack up a little pile of boxes and begin my fifth bonfire this week

Premium Member Wistful Mermaid

beneath a midnight starry dome
tonight the moon and stars offer no solace
just my luck to fall in love with a human
hopeless dreams ghastly haunt me

as dry land and destiny
dreadfully keep us apart
i can only love you from afar
this is a no win situation

as your ship travels the high seas
i serenade to keep you safe
but to my core I yearn to seduce you
and bring you forever to my realm

Animal Instinct

Confused to what she's doing. Her instinct just kicks in.
The battle she is facing? Will guarantee no win.
Everything just happened. She never would had Known. She's not a baby anymore, how quickly she had grown.
She's acting all on impulse. Is it wrong or right?
She can't stop her calling! She trys with all her might.
Once this all is over she won't need to run.
The only thing she'll be thinking.
Is God what have I done?

Communication

Brings your palms wet
stomach aches with regret
ex hail sigh of relief

Alters feelings and acts of disbelief

Beging relationships
may destroy to defeat
then you meet

Unexplained action
succeeding to fail
all action not there

Clarifies confusion
mysterious powers to resolutions

With bridges built strong
walls will still fall

Aspirations depth ins
dreams filled with weapons

The power with-in
confusion altered - No win
Natural possibilities begins....

Seattle Seahawks Haiku

Seattle Seahawks Haiku

Off in cloud of dust
Was it do or die or bust
Possibly a must

This was Seahawks game
All full of fortune and fame
For loss who should blame

Guess is good as mine
When you are so far behind
Throw pass be so kind

Guess that should be salt
After game came to a halt
Was a big insult

Two games with no win
Hope will not happen again
Did fan I offend

You have football blues
Seahawks haiku sure could use
For both me and youse
