Holiday
Holiday is ringed gay with lights.
Niose-shook, for a marquee
Of lawn-pitched attractions.
No dull railing girts it. A place
In time joy-bounced, by whim's
Un-school-like persuasions....

Dimming Dreams
So scared to peak…fears further grief
Lights, she dims, a glance so brief
Womanhood stripped-callous thief
Dreams are dimmed, hopes attune
Cold marquee provides no relief
Her name stripped far too soon...

My World
A galaxy
lives within me
through sky’s marquee
my heart beholds

one earth’s design—
as moon, lake twine
in peace, I shine
from heaven's mold.

My Job Is??
No need for a C.D.
You enjoy listening to me.
     You giggle at my personality.
Inside a booth or a marquee.
My choice of music pure energy.
I make you move your body.
     I set your spirit free.
No this is not an E.V;P.!...

Rose Meadow, an outcast woman,
	portrayed by Fertie Fields.
The film chronicles her Pagan beliefs.
A supporting cast boasts
Roland (Rollie) Hills and Hayden Hayfield.
Cameos by Misty Marsh and Lily Lake.
Marquee brags of Nature’s spiritual mysteries
comprising the life of Rose Meadow....

A marquee of stars dims, to beckon early winter’s stage;
Reflecting crunched flowers in ghastly hues, detached from their limp boughs.
The nightfall drapes hush of serenity , as flakes soothe trees’ nest.

Unable to deceive you--
not that I wish to hide some dark truth--
but fears are so private,
and you read me like an MGM Marquee....

Too easily you expose me,
send me stumbling
against mirror walls, shattering images....

Your lips over the sharp edges,
miraculously uncut,
with warm kisses you raise me
from cold, compressed crystals.......

The Marquee whispered, Gorden is gone...
The Edmund Fitzgerald briefly raised its bow
from the black icy depths of its echoes.
Carefree highway shimmering, flecks of gold
if you could read my mind love
It would wish your chords to never grow old.
It's Sundown, the maple leaf sways in great sadness.
melodies cascading gently down from the heavens....

Genocide of Pins
Beneath the bowling-alley
bar marquee
the rain tonight

hammers off
the concrete.
Inside, beer flops

bottle into glass.
Beyond the bar,
bright lights

reveal a Bowler’s day:
fluorescent shirts
red, yellow, green,

and everywhere
a roar so loud
one can barely hear

the genocide of pins
slain by balls
a lifetime now in transit.

A cardinal whips its trilled zest
Where fields extend into a mile;
That upon bright April's request
My toes wiggle here for a while...
I pause as sunrise paints hued light
By rolling through ridges, how free!
Till more birds arrive come near night
When dreamy hours grant spring's marquee.

Wind In the Glass
Wind in the glass

Wind in the glass,
Emotions repressed,
Cage in the grass
Released heart depressed.

Tree in the wind,
Free with his feelings,
No more wants to hind,
Master of his dealings.

Words flowing free,
Discharged hidden says,
Sun in the marquee
Freedom of its rays.

Light in his face,
Kindness in his deeds.
For the human race,
Heart and soul needs,
Open freedom seeds....

A Word of Life
a word of hope or a word of revival
a word that can cause my survival

Please, speak to my loving heart
And never pronounce the word ‘depart’

Cool down my glowing fire
Or order my passion to retire

Feed my starving adoration
And quench my droughty sensation

Make me a lost traveller in your sea
Or even a noble, prince or a marquee

But just speak and let me sigh
your words once before I die...

Premium Member A Never Ending Cruise
Everyday is a never ending cruise;
Adventure lurks as we land at each port
traveling the world with you beside me;
Honey, with you there I simply can’t lose,
perfect ship and luxurious resort;
Wearing a smile like lights on a marquee
beckoning me softly to come aboard;
Exploring with the gift of a passport
you turned my dreams into reality;
Tilted my face from the shadows toward
                      the sea....

Eve outlines the curves of an old terrain, where antique bottles in their moonlit sheen reflect pillars’ glow…now mildly unseen from vintage halls of paling, roughened grain: All through this vine-clad manor’s dusky shade poses outside its elegant fig tree-- Which attests to a once- royal marquee this landmark, our own hometown’s proud arcade. Autumn Put Down Me Bed
Autumn put down me bed
In the grass and the leaves of yours
Cool me I’m hottest lad
But don’t freeze hands of mine, of course.

Make me marquee in wood
Frail but only mine
Autumn I wish I could
To sleep in the bush to be fine.

Give to my fallen soul
View of the forest’s shade
I will be dead for all
I will be deaf for fate.

Hairs will not be white
Sadness won’t come as troop
Put down the bed with light
Weave endless dream in loop....

Kismet yanks the rug I'm standing,
Shocked it barely sways my stance.
Should have been a back-side landing,
Unexpected happenchance.

Anger follows loud reporting.
As for me, my silence holds.
I'm the villan, unsupporting,
Tiresome lines, the same old role.

New perspective thrills my senses,
Plays must reach their final scene.
As I pack, I feel a cleansing,
Cancelled drama, blank marquee.

Muted Midday
Naked pure newborn Eden, unashamed
Soles step intrepid on spongy moss
                Quadrant of tropical dapple claimed
                Fruits in Winterless heart's emboss

Heckboy
Censorship’s alive and well
In Dickson, Tennessee,
Whose Roxy Theater advertised
Upon its proud marquee:

“Heckboy,” playing there beside
Both “Dumbo” and “Shazam.”
Of course, there’s no such movie
And that title is a sham.

The owner thinks profanity
Should not be on the sign,
So “Hellboy” was a name that she
Decided to refine.

To me, there’s not much difference
In those words; they’re neck and neck,
But such censorship implies this country’s
On its way to Heck....
