Dimming Dreams

So scared to peak…fears further grief
Lights, she dims, a glance so brief
Womanhood stripped-callous thief
Dreams are dimmed, hopes attune
Cold marquee provides no relief
Her name stripped far too soon

Dear Natalie, this is one of the best I've seen for the contest. I can really relate to this woman. As I get older, I dim the lights too. Congratulations on your win in Dr. Ram's contest! Love, Carolyn

An interesting and tragic theme you used! Good luck with this contest. about the troll dolls. I could just kick myself. at a thrift shop one time I saw a whole bunch of OLD trolls being sold for maybe a hundred bucks. I am talking like 30 of them in a dollhouse too. I bet They would be worth much more than a hundred on Ebay, don't you?

Ohh ya Andrea! I am a big fan of thrift stores and I never see them there. That is a pretty good sign that they sell for a decent price online (that and they are easy to ship :)). Thanks for your comments-have a fantastic 4th!!!! Love, Natalie
