Change
Embrace them or fight, with smiles or a scowl
Inevitable, so don't throw the towel
Divine winds of change
Inherently strange
Come not whispering, but surge with a howl...

King Ludwig
Bavarian King Ludwig was mad. He did something that was inherently bad. Behind his castle, there was a great big lake. Into that water, a one-way dip Ludwig would take.

The Back of His Hand
He might have been tempted
To give me the tour of
The back of his hand
But he gave me his back instead.
If you never get to know
The back of your man’s hands
You have found one who is
Inherently good
Whose resistance overpowers
Temptation…....

Keep the Light On
Sliding into home plate
Wounds inherently whipped
Fantasies of victory
On terms of nobility
Ambitious reality
Arrived values
Business a history
Concealed salvation
Watching supreme plead
Filming individual texture
Closing out shadows of fear...

If It Was Not
If it was not….

If it was not by weapon,
My folks would have slain me with abhorrence.
If it was not inherently,
I would be their Desperado King for ever.
If I was not egoistic,
I would have been feasting with my broods,
If it was just,
I would have been a dud
If it was not the distance,
I would have been alone....

Why is justice difficult to achieve--
Simple matter of doing what is right,
Fair, and inherently good, I believe,
Why is justice difficult to achieve?
A concept, surely, we can all perceive
Ideas for which we must join and fight
Why is justice difficult to achieve—
Simple matter of doing what is right.

Restless Heart
" My love grows inherently restless in your absence, where many are the days that try to reconcile from the torn pages of time, a broken heart condemned to endure the fire of every age, leaving nothing more than the ash of an unfulfilled life, that goes without what it desperately needs, to just feel wanted. I like to think
that poetry
has intrinsic value
above and beyond
the actual craft…

That the origins
of poetry’s meter
and rhyme precede
each preliminary
draft…

That something, perhaps
even spiritual, transcends
the fore-and-aft…

And when the writer
thinks to scuttle
a work, as often
inherently we do,

always
may there be angels
floating him
a Literary-raft…....

Nothing

Shall there be a soothing rest within the arms of a shallow grove, from whence the aches of an early dawn arise in its  presence, as a burning flame before the veiled eyes of a sterling mire? Count it not as so, that all inherently good things one might seek may be levied by the hands of time, for those that are of the same zealous mind, that can neither be accepted nor denied.

Premium Member Daring To Be Great
Aiming to be truly great,
where there is no debate.
It is a very natural instinct:
An instinct inherently innate.

We were created uniquely special.
I have come to this given realization.
This is surely a fateful maturation.
To rightly aim at this destination.

Obstacles may come in the way.
People can give their no and disdain.
Tides will bring gifts and then go away.
Part of being great, is to stay on this train....

Them
humans are not all inherently the same
each individual is trapped in a room
with one or more unique cognitive windows
and i either have one broken glass window
or a billion overlapping windows with various distorting filters
i don't remember something ever being thrown at my window
from the outside, anyway
but i can't trust what's in this room
They have control; it is Them you see
i've been handcuffed and chained to the wall...

Blue Sorrow
Blue air
on the streets and in your hair
seeping into blood still traveling
oxygen lit and sweet
Blue tears
on your palms and past your years
wept on a whim from things you've seen
slipped into cornea vaults
Blue words
on your lips and wings of birds
attached with wire as they waited
to fly your sorrow hence.
Blue day
still on the books until flown away
to the land where sadness inherently dies
and memory markers remain....

Nights Wake
-Nights wake-

The night is dead. Longs for absurdity, what’s left is a heart of fire.

The abomination of the fallen. Serotonin left astray. Beg for the long-lost magnum opus. Tear apart Librium. Sheer lust of the requisite. Where are we now?

Deprave the senses. Blind from touch, brail inherently deemed moot.

My eyes close and I see the void. I open them to see the lie.

Tears stream down my face like rivers surface in the Sahara....

Tinted
Straddling the fractured frontier

Dividing two disparate, distant decrees

Tugged from each of my lumbering, limp limbs

Inevitably tumbling into dogmatic belief

For every creed, a byproduct

Of a specific time and place in history

From what we believe as divinity

Inherently tinted by human ingenuity

Forgery for me, to dismiss one or another as sorcery

Yet forcibly, like water, I fill the cup of whoever is holding me...
