Them

humans are not all inherently the same
each individual is trapped in a room
with one or more unique cognitive windows
and i either have one broken glass window
or a billion overlapping windows with various distorting filters
i don't remember something ever being thrown at my window
from the outside, anyway
but i can't trust what's in this room
They have control; it is Them you see
i've been handcuffed and chained to the wall

That is a very powerful, and painful poem. I like how you used the metaphor of being chained to the wall.
