Tiny Pony

I have a tiny pony,
so small she lives indoors.
She scampers up the stairway
to sleep atop my bedspread.

I never can be lonely
for this wee horse adores
To be with me all day
To share my buttered cornbread.

Are you a vet? Please tell me you volunteer at a humane society on weekends. I think your poetic soul would soar in a place like that Jessica.
