Premium Member Pathway To My Dreams
When the light from the setting sun
Makes a shining path on the sea,
Am I the only one who can see it?
Is this path solely meant for me?
Is it a pathway to my dreams?
Do I dare follow it to see?...

Freelancer's Lifestyle: the Deficiencies Iii
I heard, the economical Americans put a brick into the toilet tank. The economical Russians put there a couple of Stoli. When I was living on the Odisha beach, I had neither Stoli, nor a brick, nor a toilet tank.

Here we have an illustration of the deficiencies of a freelancer's lifestyle....

Singing In the Shower
I’d love to sing proud and sing loud
But I’m embarrassed I might draw a crowd
So in public I’m dour
Though I sing in the shower
It’s the only time singing loud is allowed

Love
Love is when we cry
Love is when we laugh
Love is when we win
Love is when we lose
Love is when we shout
Love is when we're quiet
Love is when we pursue
Love is when we quit

No matter how many faces love stands for
Love will always be an illustration of life
A part of humanity that will bring out the worst or the best in us....

Born to break
The hearts of stone.

Born to rally,
Born to rebel,
Born to dampen
The fires of hell.

Born to die,
Born a Saviour

our mental simulator is the incubator
     of our physical illustration
our mental perceptions of how events
               in our perceived physical world

are created by our inner most desires and cravings
to be tested and mulled over
          before manifesting themselves
in our physical world for final testing...

My Bedroom Mirror Is Broken
my bedroom mirror is broken -
an arrant illustration of torment
wrists landmark a spectacle carved in crimson blood
damaged mutterings seeking acceptance
darkness in the corners of self
rapacious hunger cut off by unfilled desire
ribs devoured and exposed, but covered
hiding pain in plain sight
famished; none the wiser
with a cracked precision, I smile...

Premium Member Our Journey
We embark on a new journey,
Let our travels never end,
Keep us heading in the same direction,
Though the track may sometimes bend,
Let happiness be our destination,
Let our trademark be a smile,
Let us enjoy every footstep,
Not begrudge a single mile,
Let us revel in new discoveries,
Greet each fresh dawn with pleasure,
Let us find our inner-wealth and know ...
The true meaning of treasure....

Premium Member Beyond Her Lips
Through these lips
sorrows pass
bound to slip
seldom last.

Behind smiles
secrets said
all the while
kept in red.

Whisper cries
from the heart
tender ties
love may start.

Lipstick likes
to make marks
takes all types
to send sparks.

Touch these lips
don't dare miss
passing ships
with a kiss.

Premium Member The Age of Innocence
The age of innocence,
A daughter we adore,
Long hot summer days,
A toddler, only four.

Tadpoles in a jam-jar,
Watching as they wriggle,
Nature being studied,
Inviting her to giggle.

Eyes filled with laughter,
No clouds hide the sun,
Happiness a toddler's gift,
Enjoyed by everyone.

Wide-eyed and innocent,
To her, life's one big game,
If only we could join her ...
Be innocent, once again....

Zero Supreme
Such harrowing moments peak come noon

When quarantined within decaying space

To mellow, indie music my heart croons

As through strife significant I ace

Upon me she bestowed a memory

A timeless foundation to cherish

Images vivid, yet quite sensory

An illustration of the fairest

To caress and cuddle I yearn

A feat not quite easy to complete

Evolving frost wounds may they burn

By way of passion we shall deplete...
