prided himself how fast he ran

his legs were a flash in the pan....

Froggy the Cow - a Nonsense Verse

He sometimes barked, or purred ‘meow’
On May 37, the month of Noctember
He tunnelled inside, and went into slumber...

Frederick frog had lost his croak
No croak was severe for a froggy bloke
He tried very hard every day
But Frederick's croak stayed away
Because Frederick had a frog in his throat....

Scrumbled Brain
Red swing dance
Smooth, cold touch
Foggy white brain
Froggy right pain

Blind, tired heart
Filmy white eyes

Bland crayon fighting

Nice soft bed
Rest my head...

An actor who was named Froggy Kermit
Wanted to live in silence like hermit
Till wife called him old
He told her she’s cold
Kermit just croaked her an ill cold permit

Froggy people live froggy themes.
They marsh along thru boggy streams.
Froggy people have foggy dreams,
which few remember, or so it seems.
Froggy people communicate.
They use their vocals to lure a mate.
And when it's time for froggy people to croak,
they never complain of bugs in their throat....

Pulling, I'm pulling,
I'm not responding either.
Jumping jacks inside my mind,
A froggy essence.

My mouth wants to hopscotch over every hill
Though it feels to be, in a sweet sadness,
trapped, shut, and forgotten as devices go.
     Just momentary spirits.
     A sweet sad spirit.
     the only vibrating
     in all this
                      not responding....

Froggy
Froggy with his eyes wide open
Met Ms Froggy full of hopin’
Had a basket on his arm
On his way to Ms Froggy’s farm
A baloney sandwich made with care
A chicken leg that they could share
Strawberries and a watermelon
Milk – about a good half gallon
A lunch to share with that young Ms
And maybe then to share a kiss
A pink bowtie this frog was sportin’
Back when Froggy went acourtin’...

Warlock Yet
and the Bishop he recanted, and the pumpkin watchers, chanted, an orange hue like planted, where the piles of bones, were granted , a burial in the night, and the Warlock in his death grip, from skeleton fingers slipped, then the spark of life unzipped, and he sprang up shouting Elvis, and he rocked on out of sight, like a froggy frats delight, demonic just not quite... re Russell Sivey "Warlock's Demise" Don

Face of Summer
Nursery rhymes with silly lines make children laugh in summer time
bubbles blown from little sticks seem to pop so lickety-split
Lady Bugs in flower beds talk in shades of black and red
a froggy turns to baritone from a Lilly pad where he's at home
clouds adrift like cotton candy cross the sky with blue a-plenty
while oh so well that Summer sun takes a bow when he is done
then sells his song to an Autumn moon turning to a season new...

A Day In the Life of a Frog
froggy went courting
on a sultry summer day
the flowers wilted

froggy dives into pond
makes green soap bubbles for fun,
chases his round dreams

grass is greener on other side
froggy jumps over fence
falls into dry ditch

male crickets chirp at night
a mating call for the girls
froggy sings for his supper

green submarine appears
moves slowly in pond
a froggy boat

kitty eyes froggy
froggy eyes kitty
standoff at the pond...

Premium Member The Fiddler and the Frog
The fiddler arrived
with a wry froggy grin,
and the party was born
in the dance of the bow
'cross the taut and the tuned
through the shivers of time.

The lilly pads waltzed
and the cattails all swayed
in a dream where the revelers
hopped the morning away,
while croaking the words
to their favorite song ~~

The bulls croaked their "jug o' rums",
and the tree frogs their "ribbits"
in chirruping glee until night
    became dawn......

Froggie quartet played to the cattails with gusto.
They are so loud and obnoxious! Said a turtle named Husto.
But they leave us alone now, said the flies in the pond.
They were excited to have lived another night into the beyond.

The froggy conductor had a game plan for sure.
He liked messing up the violinist, who had no Covid-cure.
Their singers were Jake and Fred, and they were both pretty bad.
Bringing a horrible concert to the Japanese lily pad....

Premium Member Froggy Bottom Chorus Line
Froggy bottom chorus line was jazzy and smart
They obeyed with rhythm, they bogeyed with heart
They brought their dance routine to a whole new art
Choreography of their steps, courtesy of leader, McLart
This boggy chorus line danced nearly off the chart
Every one of them, even smart little missy Tart.
I was mesmerized said my dour cousin Bill Bart.
Best of all was when the whole line began to belch and fart.
Scaring flies who did not know which way to dart...
