A Scruffy Cat's Tail
Once when I went to the store
Saw an old cat named Kitty Galore.

She sang and she pranced
And tried hard to dance,

But still remained just an eyesore....

Not Always An Eyesore
clutter to me isn't bad, because it:
gives me exercise when looking for things,
keeps me company when alone in the house,
makes my guests concentrate on me,
and hides my lack of artistic talent with interior decor....

I know a family that doesn't have much
But their small abode is spotless
You can eat off their floors

The Perfect Chance
Let your sight be fixed
on what is in store for you;
Odd situation in front
might bring eyesore in your view.

Be aware of your surroundings,
the enemy's baits are in place;
Outsmart the devil's tricks
So your perfect chance won't be put in haste....

Woof
Dear bag of nails
you are driving me crazy
once I thought you sweet
and fruity
now I deplore the way you snore
Love you dearest doggy
but you’re a real eyesore
woof me a kiss
while you piss
on the roses
your big old mutt head
graining
from the flowerbed....

This War
Open drawer To war
Out it pour
From the door
What's this for
Fight some more
What an eyesore
Evil to the core
So furthermore
The Antiwar
I adore
Anymore
Nether more
This encore
I ignore
To much gore
To explore
Therefor
This rapport
Is hardcore
My cries out pour
Hope won't restore
These lives tore
And our lives are
Underscored...

On the day
I lost your love
I knew
When I tried to
walk you home
You stopped

In my confusion
I guessed
We were no longer
the same
The other side
They had won

Your smile
no longer assured
Your giggle
cut like a saw
Your lyrical walk
an eyesore

On the day
I lost your love
it rained
I swore to my god
and cried
The other side ......

Eyesore
Closing my eyes as I attend dreams,
I come across an iceberg.
I understand all-
I comprehend the unimaginable,
and just as suddenly I wake.

My eyes are accustomed-
there is darkness-
brightened by halogen lights-
an empty veil spied upon,
spoiled by the idea of....
something more.

There is a sea of I's
then there is just I.
Yet no one really notices...

Train Love
Swaying,
Rocking,
Like water against a boat
Her unfamiliar fragrance snatches sense with every whiff.
Tall and exquisite.

I sat watching
Her slender frame stately set
against traveling commonalities
Who, in comparison,
were a mere eyesore
 than equivalent.

Had I been an artisan,
Canvases would walk and speak

Up, she looked
 Our eyes entwined—
An instant connection,
Train Love....

Deep Roots
Stubborn root I pretend is not there.
In truth, it’s an eyesore I can not bear.

I tried chopping it out to no avail.
With blistered hands that are certain to fail.

Root clings to earth with an iron death grip.
Claws at my soul amidst scattered wood chips.

The root within is most stubborn of all.
It has been growing ever since the Fall.

Defeat is the undone and diminished.
Hope is knowing it’s already finished....

There Is a Lake
THERE is a lake somewhere
'midst pollution, coots & comorants thrive
Jewel in our overflowing sewage
Creation endures Curse of (ANC, Adam &) Eve

NoTE:
ANC is the ruling party & government majority in South Africa since the elections of 1994. With hardly a basic maintenance program anywhere, every hospital, school, office, utilities, and national treasure left THE ANC by its predecessor (NP, nationalist party) is an eyesore, tragedy, or will soon be)....

Premium Member Yellow Flowered Woman
Yellow flowered woman hiding among buttercups galore
Knew how to tidy up every crevice, crack and eyesore
We knew better than to fawn, admire, compliment or adore
She did not believe in flattery, felt it was dishonest, did abhor.

Yellow flowered woman came out in April every year.
She was a friend to grasses, daffodils, and delightful deer.
Her goal was to most of nature lovers abundantly clear.
She uplifted spring, gave buttercups and lilies a big cheer....

The Last War I Saw
The last war I saw
Was Crushing Eyesore
And I was dead sure
Man badly loves a chainsaw:
A film that lowered my lower jaw
I regarding the scenes from bare floor:
The crazy inclusion of Wasting Chainsaw,
With all its quartering strength and numbing awe
That Man’s Bestiality brought to the fore;
A peace move making a thing core
And bloodshed an “Exciting Bore”.

The last war I saw
In a friend’s filled store
Was worse than a whore
One sees and makes for a door!...

Vintage Tomorrows
The promise land doesn't come turnkey and move in ready
         It's a self-assemble

New build: customize your own heaven or hell
         Remodel: Pimp a dinosaur
                          Facelift a grand Dame
                          Restore a Hiroshima
                          An eyesore into a Picasso

For you can upcycle the pieces of your broken yesterdays
         into vintage tomorrows
Your bitter blues into your giddiest bliss yet...
