Notes About The Poem

Here's a little walk down memory lane, inspired by Line Gauthier's recent monoku, "Rewind the 8-Track."

The Finest In '60's and '70's Fashion

Slips into his best tie-dyed t-shirt
Grabs his sandals sans socks
  ~ 'for dessert'

Paisley tie's humungous knot
Pulled down to his waist
Shoulder-length hair everywhere
~ brushed out in such haste

Decisions, decisions: Which pants to wear?
Spray on iridescent sharkskin
~ or the nude look, so bare?

Be the concert Hendrix, Cream or Doors
Whatever the case
  ~ He's a fashion eyesore

Loved the imagery of the clothes Gershon, it reminded me of old album covers and pictures from that era:-) hugs Jan xx

Thank you, Jan. So, 'mission accomplished,' we can hearken back to 'Best of Cream,' 'Jimi Hendrix Experience,' 'Light my Fire,' --- and of course, 'Abbey Road.' Ah, ye olde trip down Memory Lane... Giggles galore, eh? TYSM again for this visit and for all of your encouragement always. :) gw
