A Photograph
Blue eyes,
laughing,
 hands;
unkindly the memories pile together.
Severs of the heart shied away
kissing at their enclosure....

A pool he bent over,
Cool water enclosure
Still, he's well-dressed with his smile on.

Enclosure Invisible
Like a stack of overdue books
I can never finish with you
You are the designer of a love matrix
Sweetly you spread a net invisible
I am just a june bug crawling in a spider web
 entangled for life....

Hypnotic
lose usual fear...
hypnotized by their hugh size...
their striking colors...

slither- slow- entwine...
hissing in the enclosure…
snake charm dance at zoo...

press face to the glass…
so thankful not in my grass…
they bite in a flash…

Happy Environment Day
I am confined in four walls in summer afternoons.
I am desperate to go out but
the encroaching heat halts me.
Now, I can understand,
 the wiggling and plight of an innocent bird ,
who wants to conquer the sky,
but forced to an enclosure.
Happy Environment Day!!

Thoughts On Cemetery Ridge
You are the beautiful antique room,
half-open, decayed by light and familiar gazes.
Lace curtained windows, like eyes that see only the past,
you offer wistful, paltry promises of enclosure,
but as the wind whispers through the cracks in your walls,
you are too cold to offer life....

They
cut up
the common,
enclosed the heath
and
made
the land
all their own-
putting to the
plough-
once
freemen,
then wage slaves-
as a pauper
lie.

Love Tanka
You clasp me squirming
                                           Like desire kissing apples
                                                 Of secret passion
                                        Making my face summer dawn

Your Enticements Are Incitements
Never say never

It could happen
It could not

Committed to
Non-commitment

Vocalizations stuck on
Silence

It's enticing?
It's inciting
Riots
Put your President
Behind bars
Unlocked my cage
Set me free

Free to roam
In the predator's enclosure

Your enticements are incitements...

Chivalry
Coupled, they brave the storm
and critical exposure
forced by the storm to form
a perilous enclosure.

Under its salvo, they
press shivering shapes together
to limit the foray
of such unholy weather.

Embedded thus, they dare defy
the higher forces. Yet
his chivalry is impotent.
For nature soaks her wet.

Enclosure of the Moon
capturing cosmic glass;
The stars swirl around it;
An abysmal swallow;
Dreams drawn like a magnet;

Enclosure of the Moon,
transmissible panache;
Tumbleweeds on the wind
so the dark sky shimmers;
Taking everything in;

Enclosure of the Moon
reveries wrap around
with a fiery whimper;
Hoping a wish will catch
celestial tinder....

Alone
Tears are knocking at my eyes door
shut tight more and more
The knock is now harder, stronger
I can't deny them access anylonger
I will open and flood
the world with tears of blood

I'm quarantined in dark cubicle
Turning around in mighty circles
Lovely birds singing
Nice bells ringing
Beautiful butterflies swarming
Smiling sun warming
Outside my enclosure
All of these pleasures
sour to my dying senses...

Lone Days
There is a forgotten cabin
that stands by the sea,
Old and dilapidating,
Its former years I still remember,
Happiness dwelt within its walls,
Joyful tunes emanated from its enclosure,
A summer home,
A vacation abode,
Its walls glittered under the sun’s rays,
Abandoned and deserted,
It stands alone and grey,
No more pleasure to them,
They had gone and never came back,
It stands in a forlorn hope.

People Trapped In Marble
Jul 2013
Chennai

Proof that an indivisible portion of time exists,
Frozen in that time, unchanging,
Morphed into the metamorphic rock, forever,
Hacked, packed, moved,
masoned into walls of a ritualistic enclosure

I can drink on them for hours,
Look into their eyes,
Isolated, purified, distilled to 175° proof,
One expression, one thought, one pain,
...maybe that is why I can see them

Or maybe I just spend too much time in that room...
