I promise my self inner peace. What life brings I take. What lies ahead i do not know. I am in no competition, live to become wise, wisdom is light.
May I offer few words of wisdom--
Just a few words of reason and rhyme?
Competition is fun, when you're winning;
Collaboration is fun, all the time.
Form:
I didn't win in the poetry competition.
Did you not enjoy my vision?
Was it because my poem was slightly odd?
Or was it because I didn't mention God?
Species cannot make transitions by one another
If they do, the tricks of compromise and competition
they take would make this world no order and logic
Whilst saline tears caress my cheeks,
I can't find the peace my heart seeks.
