The tulips know.

Put them in a vase.
Observe myopic stems
heavy with thirst.
Observe choreography
that lifts lion heads
again and again in
different calisthenics
until blowsy with life,
no petal left unfolding,
they seek beneath bowl 
and table the steady 
pulse of life...

twirled on
knowing you’d one day
haunt my ruin;
use my mind for a peephole,
step lightly over my hill.
Blond curls a choreography
of sunlight and days undone.
Slim legs binding blood
to a wounded feline hanker
and a tin thin regret...

my hand imprints its deep pile
as if a memory
footprints of a fieldmouse slide and circle
a figure skaters choreography
the sun rises from above the cloud
as if a growing flower
in winter shine crystals glisten
are they glass beads or pearls?...

escape into the air
like nails spreading 
across a chalkboard 
causing confused 
expressions to spread 
across the faces of those

break out in an all out
two left footed choreography

show has begun...

in rhythm,
swans twirl a ballet
girdling  through agile quills aflight
and pivot in choreography of glazed moondance
till wings leave at  finale's point  when icy November appears on a graywashed stage.

Haunting every room of  the heart's daily walk-
Her sweet breath of words,
Breathing kisses of soul expansion on the spirit cheek's ear of I-

The pair wave white handkerchief in air,
during dance they never touch, maintain
contact; while audience enjoy, cheer.
