Optimist's Haiku

I flew past the sky,

Up, to the celeste, thinking

What's past the sky's sky?...

Marie Celeste

There once was a Man of Mystery,
Who survived an event in History.
Escaped the Marie Celeste,
In a Canoe, heading West.

As for the rest, it’s still a mystery.

life's sad principle

Brings to mind the words of the song: "If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with." Often...that is true....

Neck resting on the crook of my arm
gentle throaty murmur, content, calm.
Moonglow eyes no longer bear the weight of day
and slowly set. She gently drifts away.
I too must sail the night realm where she goes
but not yet- please, not yet...

cannot keep her indoors
chases all living things
consumes food and budget

Loves journey top each other

I found you

you found me

I felt the touch

 We astral fit

Spheres drifting

Joined from ethereal chord

Celeste beings

Timeless venues

Somewhere in time

Travelers in love

Gazed lovers

Moonlight dance

Only human

we Jazz

The journey of our soul...

The Mary Celeste of my Life
Lost at sea, rudderless
Steaming coffee awaiting lips
gone into eternal mystery
Ghosts of love long vanished
Shipshape sinking soul
A'fouled by waves
of indignant pain
Love lost at sea
Empty vessel sails on
Ever adrift
Indifferent to its fate
Destination of no concern
Where has the crew
vanished to?

Blue Waiting
Breathe elegance
of gray green
lessons in simplicity
blue heron waits

I watch your
minor shifts in moving
I’ve already squiggled
a dozen times
while you peer tall
on your barnacled stage

I’d never seen
stillness so refined
estuary ballerina
extending time.

Mary Celeste
Mary Celeste

When I came to my brother’s house,
In the sweet suburbia, the house was empty.
But the table was set four and dinner
In the kitchen the food was warm.
My brother has a lush garden and it was a hot day
so I switched on the sprinklers before leaving.
I heard muffled screams but thought it was
children in the neighbouring garden playing
hide and seek.

Throw back my drink
The soul burnning aching
of frivolous fear
is an aching crease
in my caring blown-tree
of selfless intrigue
and celeste persona

and blind wisemen
drink handfuls of
woman's persona

I bathe in dusks warm
embrace and I fall
backwards into the
wide open hole of my soul
and I wonder on the situation
of the moment

I throw back my drink and
marvel at the grace of my
life and the simplicity of birth...

I Will Be
I will be a flower blossoming
Where only cactus grow
When there is no rain
and the land becomes desert
I will be the sweetest river
When the sky is dark
and there is no light
I will be the brightest star
When the world becomes a WAR-GAME
and no one cares about him
Not even himself
I will be his backbone
and I will keep him alive
Next to GOD
I will be everything
and next to GOD
He will be everything to me.

All My Children Are In Heaven
Often I am asked
if I have children;
this question
makes me sad, though
I do answer
that I do:
they're all in Heaven.

They died before being born
so the Father holds them
safely in His hands
where no harm can come to them.

Mother's Day is the toughest
day of the year for me;
I want to be with them,
but I don't yet want to die!

Frozen Pizza
There are many frozen pizzas to choose. They’re all in the freezer case. Which of them will I buy? This supermarket has many brands of pizza. Which do you like best? We have the Red Baron brand. Mama Celeste is right here. DiGiorno’s stands in the front. There is Ellio’s. Tomatoes and cheese. Sometimes, there’s pepperoni. Sausage and peppers. They are on a frozen crust. So many brands to select. Robert Pettit for Russell’s Mesh of Forms contest.
