Ode To Bingo

Play some bingo - have some fun
So what if a bit of gamboling is done!
Maybe win the big blackout
Then "bingo" you will have to shout!

Love Tanka 1 - 02042022

In far-off places
More darkness than light - few rules
I have your heart, smile
Power is cut, but I write
Your light: no blackouts ever

Blackout and Clarity

Let the lamp turn off,
           the lampshade, the torch...

            Not, the morning light..
            Not, the candle of life!

Premium Member Freddy

There once was a man named Freddy
he worked very hard and steady
	his battery wore out
	recharged in the blackout
now he’s Freddy Never Ready

Premium Member A Storm

Trees and branches sway.
The power has moved outside.
The house is too still.

A wren chirps sweetly,
defying chaotic winds--
innocent solace

Existential Blackout

If the wishes,
               quiet...
                passions,
                turn off...
               I look for dreams in
               divine... !

Blackout In Life

If the wishes,
              subside...
               if love,
               ceases...
              i pursue fresh dreams
               in the stars... !

RAINY DAYS, a blackout poem of Henry Longfellow Rainy days

Original text

"Rainy days are like the souls
Cloudy moments, casting gloom
But even in the quiet drizzle
There is a bloom that starts to look"

Black out poem

Rainy days
Are the souls
Quiet bloom.

Premium Member The Blackout

the lights flicker
power goes out
 a candle now burns
as I sit on the couch
 so romantic
  we sit and cuddle
everything perfect
magic of the dark
 over in an instant
the lights on with a start

The Last Blackout

I was in a bar

I was struck in the head
3 times
The knee
3 times

Didn't step back
Didn't go down
Striking stopped

I walked out

Don't know who hit me
Just know he was
lucky

Lucky he didn't
take on
a tough guy

Premium Member Intrusive Ends

Intrusive growing with a stir
pushes you over the border;
I can't take it any longer;
Out of order, out of order;

Deadly quiet as I reached out
all that escapes me is a shout;
It all ends now without a doubt;
Total blackout, total blackout.

Premium Member The Fifth's Agony

The faux fury has subsided
the acrid smell of pseudo battle
awakens wary sparrows
unsure of the victor
silence does not quell
the hangover
nor daylight erase
the blackout
of whiskey'd warriors
snoring on weeping lawns

Last nights trousers

Foggy monday
Mourning sunday
Saturday blackout
Death by boozing Friday bruiser
Thursdays web of mid-week loser
Wednesday filled with pills and shots
Drink it up with Tuesdays lot
Foggy Monday finds its calling
In a sweaty sot on the ground, crawling

It's time to go to bed,
After a long day I lay my head down to sleep,
Sleep I dread.

Reading a book,
Will it be about a pink sheep,
look~look.

Blackout,
I hear a jeep,
out.

It's time to go to bed,
Will it be about a pink sheep,
out.

Blackout

I have all but lost my faith,
And I am certain I never know
My Mind is the only safe escape-
As the Woes of Life doth take their toll
Lo, this World is all but fair!
(But 'tis only a brief, short-lived stay)
Oh, my Soul of sweet despair-
May the Hands of Death carry me away...

My Valentine Giftf

I spared some wine,
Some love’s change,
One candle
Left from the last blackout,
And a dry rose –It is February, I did not find a wild rose.-
I also gathered some wood from the nearest forest
Under the heavy snow
For the fireplace.
These are my offer for valentine
As simple as my smile.

Blackout

dark tremors do take one to unlighted places,
what triggers this loss of our hold on the paces?
cold scared and alone in reality unknown,
yet still footprints i leave in a world of my own
drenched, shaking the chill off from journeys in stoned
waking dreams shatter faces of villains we know

Resolution -Blackout Poetry-

** if you like, you can check my blog about this, thanks :)

a gray day
Rain falls
   so pleasant

WIND blows
       so meek

Come
       home
             at
              last

Hiding the past

Live fully

See the CENTER of what must be

Then do it.

Thunderstorm-wrenched night
hit dark rains on window pane,
stuck alone in blackout room,
heard knock on creaking door,
sense shook in shade of leaked lantern.
