at the altar
one word
changing everything

When we first dated
she gave me erections
Now that we're married
she just gives me directions
Once, we gazed through spray,
proudly, over our sandcastles.
Again, our eyes meet.
Do you still feel the same today?
My parents said their vows
on Veterans Day
Soldiers enlisting for marriage
A kinder war in a way
If I can just make
One person happy, I too,
Can live my own life
A little more happily,
Since I’ll always be with you.
Marriage is a deal
It gives love’s recognition
It is a blessing
It paves the way for more care
For each other in the world
its was hot to troot
we did it a lot
lover on a cot
this is not mabe
this i can say
WE MADE
A BABY ON CHRISTMAS DAY
Nobody's spouse is perfect.
Marriage always has conflicts.
You need a sense of humor
To remain in love.
That moment in marriage
When the husband clues in
As to what it takes
To manage the household

Stabbed subterranean with a feudal dart
Crackled, corroded and combusted on every part
Heart is the only part left apart.
Two years of marriage got Elon Musk,
The third marriage in his life
He start to dream to run to Mars
Without any wive!
Her Junihitoe
Now discarded and thrown down
To adorn the floor...
Reveals an inner beauty
Of that yet unblemished core.
AU REVOIR
he dusted the album-
a memory of love
trickled down his cheek

Happy wife,
happy life,
but happy husband,
is so no such thing.
That's why they didn't make a phrase for it that rhymes.
The man married a wife
Who was the love of his life
He was oh so proud
Despite her uni brow
You see true love in his eye
My Anniversary Today, August 17
Married forty-one years ago today…
the unspoken poem therein
writes itself…
So many fine spouses cheat
Were they born with clay feet
Or does not marriage fit the back seat
the radiant star in the empty night
the rainbow after the storm
honeymoon till the end

Three
small words
brought us close;
unified with
two.

Our love began FAST
Wedding, honeymoon, Marriage
Our hate ended SLOW
We both settled for Divorce
You and I came to a STOP
WEDDING RING
GOLDEN
OLDEN
OCTOBER 21, 2019
it was a marriage of one
groom perpetually had to have fun
sad bride was always home alone
dreading each call of the phone
Of all the mammals I could be
I select marsupial
'Cos as I watch them, seems to me
They're all connubial and fiducial
My soul gives
and you taketh
there is no bargaining
in love and marriage
only trial and error
practice makes perfect
Years in the making
seconds in the breaking.
