Writing poetry is my life's passion- amen,
exciting to see what falls from this bleeding pen,
sometime, I pen at night then let my words fly,
sublime on wings they swirl into the morn' sky.
Love each poem like a child born from deep pain,
above they float and my soul is ever left with a stain,
spill my ink again and again until I cannot write words,
fulfill my poetic thirst creating poems like song birds.
I’ve been set free, from my anger, and it’s reign,
set free from the heartaches, hurts, and pain,
I’m free from the thoughts, that had me bound,
I was dead inside, till life I found.
I thank my God, I’m alive and well,
I’ve been set free, from the chains of my hell.
From the depression, that eats the heart,
from the bitterness, that tears our world apart
I’ve been set free, from the bondage of this death,
as God breathed in my nostrils, His living breath.
Free from the deceptions, and it’s lies,
from my darkened grave, as in Christ I arise.
For with the truth, all things are made clear,
I’ve been set free, from the spirit of fear.
A new creation, in Gods image you see,
from the darkness I was, to the light I now be.
In a world filled with distractions you showed me the emptiness behind it,
What value did all of this hold without you beside it?,
That nothingness was dark and empty and held no purpose at all,
And the sadness was unbearable but you wanted to show me the fall,
I begged you not to allow me to feel this but you said that I must see,
That I must feel the difference without that would bring me to my knees,
When I saw all expectations and opinions flee my mind,
The freedom to love came back to me and in my heart I left them behind,
I realized that I was trying to save myself through all other means I could find,
But focusing on what didn't matter didn't heal my mind,
Yet my heart knew what my mind couldn't and refused to comprehend,
That I needed you more than any of those things but now my heart understands,
In a culture that believes that they must have more to fulfill their aching desire,
And is deceived into believing that this will heal their heart and is blinded by the world's control and power,
Yet all the while, the love sits and waits for their eyes to open and see,
That it has been there inside of them the entire time and is waiting to be set free.
When she finds her place
and spreads her wings
God has taken care of everything.
He gave her freedom
from the bonds and chains
so she could bring glory
to His name.
She can live without fear
and stop hiding in the shadows.
She knows that no matter where she goes
God will always follow.
She was never alone
and never will be
because it was God
that set her free.

Kneel and you will receieve, accepting Jesus is key.' Open
Your heart and clear the air.' Realise He will take away the
Despair.' Accept His Blood call on His Name He of Eternal
Fame.' In fullfiling His Fathers Will; every type of sin He killed.' So now arise to victory..One of His leigions' fully free!
Denied the weight sin..And its rancid seeds, let the
Tree of life' take root within.' Move in prayer and others
Gain.' Spread His teachings' revere His Name the King of
Kings and Lord of lords.' now advance on satan with the
Spirits sword' move in.' And never yeild; hold fast the
(Faithfull sheild) keep salvation in your mind.' He will
Make your breastplate shine.' Tread the Gospel way
In the shoes, He has made; for you will never lose !
It runs in the blood
Break generational curse
Time to set you free.
My smile is a mile wide
I'm so happy--I can't hide
How my insides turned to mush
From the day my heart was pushed
From the darkest depths of me
Now I'm flying-been set free
Seeing light for the first time
Your the star that brightly shines
Through the night to show the way
My skies are blue--no longer grey
You opened me up--I was closed
Now the love I never showed
Is flowing out in loving batches
Our hearts paired--the perfect matches
You took away my loneliness
From the first sweet tender kiss
Awakening the strength I lost
From a past that made me cost
Years of my life to go by
Suspicions held me back to try
Another chance to start anew
Now my choice is only you
Soaring into open arms
And tight hugs to always calm
Me down when I start to be
Flooded with the memories
Of lovers who have done me wrong
I listen to your heartbeat song
OF love that will never end
Music and words that will send
Me to a place I will be
Safe from my past destiny
when Jesus loves Me
a good Christian I will be
from sin am set free
a blessed soul set free
like a pretty bird on high ~
birds chirp of her love
How romantic, the fall, so far above the pleading waves.
The heights, the depth, to look the deep in eye and weep.
Air space between the lovers’ arc and shallow graves.
The tangible singsong of wedding bells and tragic leap.
Imagine it, the harp-like spray, the call of gulls, the fangs
that scared it up - the fade of white, of pearls and lace.
The cleft, the crags, the foaming ebb and flow, the overhangs,
the rage and misery one cursèd night, of love’s erase.
Romantic and tragic body of sea, a bride set free.
for she’d not live eternity of blood, thus spills her own.
He has no heart, but tears. Before his fate - a honeybee.
The heaviness of weight, the sea frothing with moans.
The scene has wings that fly and dive and sweetly catch
the widower’s debris. Invisible, the flight of ghostly light.
From precipice, how many tears do claw and scratch…
Hell laughs, but jealous witch wished bride to be first bite.
I hear behind me
the fleeting sounds
of a large green alligator
slithering through the weeds
it snaps at my butt
and takes a smallish chunk of me
setting me free
to ponder
behind a tree
how lucky
one can be
to be set free.
I held onto what I thought belonged to me, but in turn was never mine,
What I defined here on earth as forever, I could only relate to this life,
I watched life take it's last breath while here, and it triggered my heart to see,
That no pain in this world is worth losing the love that's inside of me,
So I keep giving passed the pain, I can't afford to lose,
Those feelings are worth feeling, even if its only for a moment to move,
This love brings life back to our spirit, and the enemy cannot deceive,
Oh, my friend, if you only knew, just how much He loves you and me,
He places our hearts back in motion, he sends love at just the right time,
He knows the depths of past pain we have felt, but He never gives up on our lives,
Death can stay at the door knocking, but His love holds the key,
And with just one glance, I saw your heart and at that moment you were set free.
Sometimes doubt is full of shame;
Some times have you forget your name?
Mercies only granted when you repent and be sorry for it…
Sorry for those things you’ve done-QUIT;
Sorry for what you’ve become;
Repentive no longer on the run;
Forgiveness, forget what you just did;
Redeem yourself and be set free and just live;
