Set Free

I held onto what I thought belonged to me, but in turn was never mine, What I defined here on earth as forever, I could only relate to this life, I watched life take it's last breath while here, and it triggered my heart to see, That no pain in this world is worth losing the love that's inside of me, So I keep giving passed the pain, I can't afford to lose, Those feelings are worth feeling, even if its only for a moment to move, This love brings life back to our spirit, and the enemy cannot deceive, Oh, my friend, if you only knew, just how much He loves you and me, He places our hearts back in motion, he sends love at just the right time, He knows the depths of past pain we have felt, but He never gives up on our lives, Death can stay at the door knocking, but His love holds the key, And with just one glance, I saw your heart and at that moment you were set free.
