She gave her word and I just believed,
was the best thing that happened to me,
but, before long, on camera I see

never had a hint of guilt in her eyes,
how can someone feel that justified,

When you're a woman they want you to wear more and say less, 
But what the  does it matter to you how I choose to dress?

She is a Queen; she doesn’t need a king to reign.
Your absence was meant to shatter her world,
But you forgot—she builds empires from the ruins.
You thought you were playing her like a game of chess,
But she saw every move; you were just a pawn.

You believed betrayal would go unnoticed,
That her silence meant weakness.
But silence is

Backfire

A upholder strong, bold, and courageous
Belittled and trivialized
Accepting truth; she's bon a fide
Speaking up for self became contagious.

We use to be together 
All season before now 
Long years past we were always

I am hard on myself, for your presence lingers,
The weight of your judgment, my heart still remembers.
In your eyes, I sought approval and grace,
Yet I found only doubt, in my every embrace.

Muted Love

Not this day
No 
My mouth shall not say
The words that linger
Trailing broken syllables 
From memory bay
Without meaning
I cannot form them
Even as I pray
Turning in guttural acidic taste
By bitter bile way
Fumbling resentment 
Phrase to phase
With no sway from sentiment 
Shall I dare?
Shall I say?

Struggle thought 
Drowning heart turned grey

Poem Ego
Ego leads us in the right direction
It is a means of satisfaction
It is a crown that never lets us down
It soothes the heart and touches soul
A man without ego has no goal
He who bows before someone has lost his light
A man with ego is a man with sight
It dispels darkness and night

I Date Freedom

Tonight’s the night I go on a date, 
At the restaurant we’ll meet face to face,
Where we’ll wine and dine and talk about love, 
And maybe go back to my place,

Where lights will be dimmed, with soft music on, 
Maybe a slow dance on the floor,
And our shadow will glide in a choreographed sway,

Because it was everyday with your ex

This generation just don't know.

"One man killed, one sitting in jail".

Sons and daughters in holding cells.
