Premium Member Where is the Love

Take a look around the world
people hurting everywhere you look
I ask you where is the love
Today stop think before you speak
Then love can really leak
out to the person hurting on the street

Friends no longer friends
Why is this , because loves gone away
Once walked hand n hand
Now can't look each other in the eye
Children treated cruelly too
Everyone is seeking to be loved

Will you make a difference my friend
And let your love send
Out to others who seek it so much
We can make a difference today
Stopping hurt, chasing blues away
Reach out and touch somebody's heart today

Premium Member seeking relief

air-conditioning
turned up full blast still can't cool
summers lingered heat

Premium Member Prelude

Spring's gentle prelude,
Swallows fly into the mist—
Seeking distant skies.

I Am That I Am

Line of inquiry:

“a heartbeat pulsating as living light

free from each and every limitation

I Am that dwelling in unbound delight

the source wherefrom arises creation”

My Poem

I sought Him - In the lows and highs,
In the darkness, in the light
In the warmth of spring,
In the chill of autumn’s breeze

I sought Him - In the joy and the pain
In the sunlight, and the rain
In the wonder of life’s blessings
In the knowledge of each lesson

I sought Him - In the beauty and the fear
In the laughter so sincere
In the song that robin’s sang
In the gentlest winter snowflake

I sought Him - In the knowing and the naïve
In the distance and the familiar
In the quiet and the madness
In the sweetness of a favorite prayer

I sought Him - In the melody of falling leaves
In the silence of imploring grief
In the wonder of echoed praise
In the beauty of heaven’s grace

I sought Him - In the mountains and the seas
In the colors of hope and humility
In the heart who truly believes
In the truth of spiritual empathy

I sought Him
And found Him
When I knew
Wherever I am… God is there, too!

Sea wanders 'neath pink skies,
so green, like restless young.
Scarlet birds are flying
somewhere near orange sun,
soon itself to turn mauve.
Such is way of the world.
Seems purple stars search, too.

TO SEEKING, KNOCKING, ASKING, AND GIVEN

Sometimes things can be so simple,
When you just sit and seek guidance
From the holy cistern of wisdom:-
Trying to please you has been
A challenging endeavor
For me to accomplish:-
But now, I’m in the awareness
That my focus simply needs to be,
Taking care of you in labours of love:-
“How much greater value,
Is wisdom than gold…and likewise,
Understanding, more valuable than silver?”
No, nothing can match
God’s divine navigation,
And His Son’s footprinting:-
Praise be to the Trinity,
For body and soul healing:
Indeed, just seek, knock, and ask;
And in due time, all needs will be given:-

SEEING AND ASKING:
A TANKA-SENRYU FREEFLOW

Pandemonium,
Has become common today.
What a confused life:
Warrior mindsets halting
Thoughts of peaceful sojourning:-

Negativity
Has blackened enlightenment:
Blocking out guidance:-
Time to set our minds on fire
With biblical memoirs:-

Let us remember
Both Sodom and Gomorrah:
Saving our nation:-
Today, things are really bad;
We must not let them get worse:-

Always remember,
God will help out all those who
Seek out His help:-

Let’s get to asking,
Knocking reparation’s door:
Deliverance opening:-

Seeking the Truth

In the morning, you walk with me.
All day, you stand with me.

I call you friend.
I call your name.
I call you savior.
I call you worthy.

Justification is a choice.
Sanctification is a process.
It’s all about Jesus.
More than able.
Always stable.
Give me Jesus!
My one thing.

Lightness overcome the dark.
Lightness overcome the heavy.
Light will prevail.
God’s love never fails.

Because Jesus has great love for me.

I Came Seeking a Child

I came seeking a child that was born a king.
I have strayed, beguiled from my undertaking.

It was a binary star that I chose to follow,
one path leading straight to Him,
but I sought the brighter glow
and became a wondering pilgrim.

My star led me here through circuitous routes,
through pleasurable meanderings
and gratuitous pursuits,
crossing mellowed valleys and honeyed springs.

I have smelled the flower of travellers-joy
and tasted the heady fruits of the vine.
I have eaten and drank till I felt cloy;
sought fun-loving company, avoiding the saturnine.

Questing warmth in the arms of more than one woman,
hypnotized by the charms of their fair sex;
tasting only their sweetness, like a persimmon,
sensing not the puckering in their vortex.

My eyes have feasted on many a sunrise,
and, again, they drank in the satiny sunset.
I have allowed my mind to fantasize,
benumbed by the beauty of that distant vignette.

Life has been a sweet potion to swallow,
but time is running out, I must reach my goal,
pursue the star fast losing its halo
and find the King, I must save my soul.

I’m here now, where is this child?
all I found was a Man Crucified.

TAKE THE FLIGHT

When you're on a flight
You automatically go
Airplane mode
Only those on the same flight
Can connect with you
You automatically disconnect
From those that can't take the flight.

Life has phases
Different dimensions
What you're open to
Opens doors for you
A closed mind
Limits your version
What you're seeking
Is seeking you.

The people you associate with
Determines your end point
No wonder the Bible says;
Show me your friends
And I will tell you
Who you are
For you to be great
You don't have to endow mediocre.

Premium Member seeking favors from Godfather Vampire

We all lined up to kiss the ring of Godfather Vampire
He is like the king and president, except a bit higher
When you want a favor, he is the one to ask
He can get much done, he is an expert at a task

He was aloof a bit, but that is to be expected
We gave tributes to him, which his entourage inspected
One gave him a nod, so my wish might get granted, I think.
I left the hall, feeling optimistic, my attitude in the pink.

Premium Member Me Seeking Serenity

A poem by me,
perhaps serenity,
but thinking all the while,
poetic serenity
makes me smile.

Then some silly simile
invades the space,
and even active denial
of poetic paternity
puts a frown on my face.

When it hits me,
like an "as" out of place,
an inert referal
to moronic modernity,
invading more of my space.

It is not my poem
that will make me serene,
but the calming thought of creation,
through poetic humanity,
that brings the smile back to my face.

Premium Member Seeking Truths in Life

“as both this form and boundless space cravings of ego negated awake,
vibrant yet nonchalant bliss drenched heart remains elated”
                                                                              ~ Unseeking Seeker

Once stripped of hubris and inhibitions,
our stygian streams will glimmer with light,
releasing us from tethered traditions
to gleam like bright stars each nebulous night.

Vibrant becomes the mind with truths in life,
once uncloaked from sorrow's dark mourning shrouds.
We're fulfilled, no vacant voids, stress or strife.
Blissful beneath skies without nimbus clouds.

Unmasked, we're drawn as a somatic sketch,
and mindful of our spiritual needs.
No motley abstract conceived as a wretch,
our hearts will exult as wheat among weeds.

Once unbound, we'll dance with terpsichore, *
as Aurora applauds our liberty.

*Terpsichore is pronounced. Terp sic o ree'
Greek Muse of lyric poetry and dance,
as a noun it means a series of rhythmical steps

OF YOUNG DWELLERS SEEKING HOME
             (A Senryu Flow)

Wisdom guides us all…
Don’t be sorry…be aware:
We’re given to give…

Remember and know…
Home is more than a dwelling:
It’s where the heart is…

Love is the heart’s home…
Where love is…hate cannot be:
God is always home…

Dwellings have their place…
Anything may be kept there:
Homes house peace and love…

House God in your heart,
And your home will be fulfilled:
He’ll never leave you…

The children need homes…
When they knock…open the door:
They seek God in you…
