Hidden Pain of Robin Williams

Robin made up stories to entertain himself, in an attic in Chicago.
We were soon the eager recipients of talents he had honed.
His heart was enormous; his generosity unfathomable.
Many probably do not realize how super talented he was.

When you are a comedian, people do not realize ….

To live in the same building, to attend a picnic with,
To become lifelong friends.
I thought he was brilliant in most of his TV work
On Mork and Mindy; I believe most of the adlibs were left
In, because he was his own best writer.

Granting wishes when required

A gentle soul

Matched each role.
And this dear man,
Though sleeping here,
Is a talent that will live on
For many more years.

Robin Williams, Sad Comedian At Heart

Robin Williams,
one of Chicago’s native civilians. 
Became the best comedian in the late seventies,
poor man died from depression’s disease.

Known for his “hyper-comedy”,
Hook, Patch Adams and Jumanji-
though delirious, 
can be serious,
like Dead Poet’s Society.

Forever loved, a man nobody hated, 
a new world of comedy he created!
I bet he’s above full of love and laughter;
embracing an “Awakening”

Lacking Nothing

Perfect and lacking the words dance in my head.
Perfection is a belief that should stay dead, 

To lack information instead.
Learning that I can grow that must stay.

Perfection and lacking two unequal words,
Perfection is a lie, a victory never reached.

Lacking nothing is a belief that gives hope and sweet peace.
