Dex and Rex were two crazy insects
they lived in Delaware’s favorite duplex
Dex’s nine-foot pet was a large T-Rex
Whom Rex did not hesitate to hex and vex
T-rex named Zex had lots of purple flecks
Cousins argued they looked more like specks
he liked to lean his giant neck over their outside decks
drivers who saw him often had car wrecks
The Sword Of Truth, It Gleams Supreme
Cast Away by Sight for Eternities,
Hail Glorious!!! Shall It Shine Once More
The Blade of Kings and Lore,
and the Sun Shall Flash Upon the Hand that Rests
In Due Time, In Due Breath
Rexque Futurus, Just as the Stars Abode
Shines the Light On The Greater Soul
T-rex has ears that do not ever stop
With a roar and a stomp, he gives a hop
Landing hard in front of the candy shop.
Where a champagne cork has given a pop.
Nothing more powerful
than speaking the truth
Pangs of deception
beguile uncouth
Spoken immortal
knighted profound
Today and tomorrow
—veracity crowned

If I was as big as a Tyrannosaurus Rex
I would go to Paris and hug the Eiffel Tower
You might scare people, her husband suggested
I would not look like a Tyrannosaurus Rex,
I would just be as big as one
How would that scare anyone? she asked him
I would be scared of a hundred foot woman, he said.
She rolled her eyes at her husband.
I know, she said. For you are scared even of me.
he did not know where to go with this,
since she held grudges, he quietly tiptoed into the living room
where his beer was waiting
Today, it's time to stand by my Rex hot,
You welcome me with love to your dear spot,
We stand side by side, the world all forgot,
You are bold, I am shy - Together, rule the sky,
Feeling proud, standing nigh - Letting out a pleased sigh,
This time that we get to discuss and share
Is time so precious, much cherished and rare,
So, I revel in your passionate stare,
You own my milky heart - Of your life, I'm a part,
We spend much time apart - Now, that's the Master's chart.
I am the Moon, your Regina, most sought,
Now it's time, my dearest, to say goodbye,
Someday, we'll be seen again as a pair,
Till then, shine brighter, my Sun, my sweetheart.
The rain was like a T. Rex
Loud, large and gray
It stomped all around the house
And then it ran away
It did not come, I understand
In doors at all until,
It found an open door and
Left large footprints across the floor.
T-Rex, T-Rump both have small hands
and small pituitary glands.
In waving arms, you thought he did
an imitation of a kid
who had a disability,
But he’s a Rex, down to a T.
With stunted emotional growth,
he mocks, insults, and waves them both.
And now DeSanctimonious...
the best this has-been can give us?
I liked him for a while; I did,
but he’s a toxic little kid.
I long for fiscal policy;
DeSantis is the one for me.
I’m surprised your first name is Rex.
It’s not kingly to often vex
Nor Godly much store set on sex…
Are you damned sure your name is Rex.
Your lips often form the word “Sex”,
Even as ears tremble or vex…
Every woman on her cheeks pecks,
Badly three relationship wrecks,
Saying “Nothing wrong parting necks.”
Tell me your Last Truth – “Are you Rex?”
Rex and Reza were buddies
who lived in Afghanistan,
which they both had to leave mighty quick
for fear of the Taliban.
Rex enjoyed special treatment
and left on the next available flight.
Reza for his part had no such luck.
What caused his miserable plight?
Let me explain to begin with.
Reza was a man, no alsacian.
he risked his all to serve the UK,
but received no help from this nation.
Rex enjoys choice morsels in the officers' mess.
He romps in fields of clover,
but for Reza, sad to say,
his troubles are far from over.
After many a danger and many a peril
he escaped to a cold French strand.
the English coast was now his goal,
but there he failed to land.
The British navy picked him up,
by which time they had passed a new law.
For all the sacrifice he made
Rwanda is opening its door
A Topic changes from sex
And three students of mine vex:
Alfred, Alan and Alex,
With eyes “The Reddest” for his Ex’s
Wicked relocation to Wessex.
Three more meet me during recess
With Satan’s films they could access
And should like me to assess …
But respect I do All-Seeing Rex,
Sure to have in this read Excess
And as sure to block my Success…
So, I did not The Trio Impress,
Resolved to not their application process:
“A Continually Deferred Sex Education
For whom it maddens like a vocation:
The richly in love with Physiology
In Lieu of Enriching Theology”.
T-rex with his stubby little hands opens cans for the raccoons.
They are in existence in dinosaur era, they come out with full moons.
He is helpful and kind, but many do not realize or know.
His lumbering body intimidates some, when he walks through the snow.
Yes, it is beginning to get colder, soon the ice age will appear.
I am sad to think of it, for T-rex and other dinosaurs are dear.
He is a great guy; he brings provisions to the prairie dogs every day.
They love him because he encourages them to be joyful and play.
You cannot tell by a person’s bulk or height whether he is nice.
T-Rex is a sweetheart, which is why I hate seeing the ice.
I know he will soon be extinct, but hopefully his friends will remember.
How kind this huge beast was in October, November and December
I have a flip phone. I'm a bit of a t-rex. At times when texting, my spelling might perplex. My touch is heavy from piano keys. I avoid smart phone and emojis. My lap top is a dated Toshiba. Perhaps I'm just a single celled amoeba?
Never got hooked on a face book addiction, too many angry people posting their convictions. I've sent many an e-mail out in haste. I've never gotten the hang of how to copy and paste. Kindles and tablets might bring others glee but I'm quite lost in this sea of technology.
Most well-known dinosaur I suspect
Is the star of Hollywood, Tyrannosaurus Rex
These guys vainly
Walk around mainly
But to fly Pterodactlyls must flap like heck
Dinosaurs are intriguing, such amazing creatures
Today, only whales compare in size get out your calipers
Sure happy I live now
As I wipe my brow
Going through the cash at the store would be fastenating
