Forgiving

Repent, and you shall be forgiven
And hopefully, reinstated
If you are conscience-driven
It’s much appreciated 
No need to come up with objections
Just humbly take the charge
Accept all stupid allegations
Before they grow too large 
The astute will suspect you’re kidding
Those will be a minority
Most of the judges will believe you
So blessed by their authority
You go whatever way you

Stubborn heart

The Stubborn Heart”

Stubborn as stone, he stands his ground,
Words like rivers, he won't let them drown.
Eyes set firm, with fire and pride,
Even truth must wait till he's tried.

He sees threats wherever he may go,
Every word—a weapon poised to throw.

Power To Repent

If you love someone
Keep your words
Your words is you
Keep true to your vow
Your vow is your offering
To someone you promise
If you deviate from your words
Your life is all betrayal
All corruption, all evil
What would be left from you
Are emptiness, hatred and not loved
Unless you repent, reevaluate yourself 
To change for good, for the better
God will cleanse

The Lord Cared For Us

Just remember in the good times
All the joy and love we shared
But in the bad we prayed for hope
But saw despair
Oh the Lord did care for us so very much
He gave us many chances to repent
God followed all His children very close
In time His children did come to repent

The Person I Use To Be-Want To Be Contest

I was quite sweet before the trauma of rape
Afterwards I was no chocolate cake
I was shamefully terrible in temper
Took my issues with men out on them
Having them fall in love with me
Was like a game of cards with odds
