'Oyez! Oyez! Oyez! all stand,'
said the bailiff before remand,
as legal eagles had looked for loopholes,
flaws in the law,
large enough to lose a lorry,
is that what they became lawyers for?
If I had taken their advice,
blindly handed out to me,
I'd have gone directly to jail,
if not in a trice.
Attorneys, barristers, solicitors,
ambulance chasers,
searching for victims
so they may litigate,
seen one you've seen them all,
what's not to hate?

I sit on a throne of unfinished things,
wearing a crown of missed chances,
a robe of echoes and brittle stances,
stitched with the pull of quiet strings.
My mini palace is kept on my palm,
built from silent, paused goodbyes.
I spread my kingdom with quiet gaze,
ruled it with intent none could revise.
I am self-slaved by chosen remand,
My soldier thumb obeys each command
My courtier eyes chart where I land
Time kneels before my wordless stand.
I claimed the void they wouldn't dare
and named myself the nillionaire.

It was Jazba and lots of Chewed Khat
That saw me enter an altercation
With them boys in blue add a rivally
Between service men and Guradians
The sworn rivally the had just crossed
The thin blue line and now twas war
They knew and were ready for it..
An ovepowering sence of wrongdoing
Plus an age old saying.. You Know Roi
You Just an intellect Playing stupid..
I was rushed and bumpend into the Car
The Grand Tiger serged forward as..
Mik On one Tango Sier Do yo read me over
Am out on a plea bargain yet it saddens
That the powers be had to use tramped up
Charges to remand me.. Twas good for...
My training, Team Eagles we always Wanna
Fly high as Silver stars we like to be Just
Roi 1 Alfa did I say they called You.. Stupid..
Them pistol service guys and their.. kengz
Incaceration schemes yet I harbour no hard..
Feelings.. Muses are at the behest of a Smile
What we do best is write.. habouring with intent
An intent to commit a crime isn't one in its esssence

Refusing to obey
he took command
The power not given
but by his hand
Looking no further
he forged within
The years and the seasons
aboriginal sin
Broken commandments
rust on the gate
Eyes burning inward
past-futures abate
Refusing the mandate
of time’s desperate plan
He slew first the minutes
—as the hours remand

In measuring the Doppler shift of stars,
the universe we see seems to expand,
beginning a grand thought that is not ours:
God and the Big Bang do go hand in hand.
Created, the release of His remand,
the science having declared His demise,
heavens now collapse to a grain of sand,
and infinite, its mass, we are apprised;
earth coalesced in time under His watchful eyes.

It seems some are smitten
with long-fingered gloves,
while others have love
for warm woolen mittens.
Like puppies and kittens,
cute gifts from above,
you’ll give ‘em a shove
when fingers get bitten.
A gloved finger’s fat,
not very precise.
Ungloved? Bad advice ~
frost bites like a cat!
But a mitten’s a club,
a stump of a hand,
a digit remand,
a prehensile nub.
No, I say what’s finer,
much better than both,
A techno-outgrowth:
thermal silk glove liners!
The gloves can get peeled;
those mittens can too.
Fingers don’t turn blue
with liners as shields.

Orphaned by the distant wind
as darkness bathes the dawn
My wings have flown beyond my sight
to catch the cygnet swan
A brother to the foreign soil
lost father to the man
Hearing wisps of memories past
old promises remand
Alone upon a falling sea
in depths my heart bemoans
The water cold inside my veins
fresh images I’m shown…
To raise my spirit from its sleep
and chase the light above
The night relinquishes its grip
and frees the mourning dove
Returning messages of hope
to course before the sun
That shines upon my reclaimed self
—my flight at last begun

All my home remotes died today in Spring.
Dumbstruck by 'GreyTooth' the Pirate King.
Who like Harald 'Bluetooth', the Danish Monarch
had a dead blue-grey tooth in his head, a hallmark
of how smart a pirate he was to stage a scam demand
that I pay a ransom to release my remotes from remand.
So what do I do as nothing works without a remote?
I feel like a wader poking fingers down hole's throat,
hoping to get a reaction from my TV, Stereo and other devices,
that only work to the sounds of remote signal advice's,
made by Bluetooth in responses to keystrokes.
This reliance on remote devices really sucks, folks.

child of tender years but her colour, black
thus held guilty
of a crime
minor
theft
truth
was veiled
by cold hearts
plague of our times
so off to the child remand home she goes

Road stop
By cop
Perceived
Car weaved
Two Beers
Cop jeers
Slurs talk
Can't walk
Clyde weaved
And heaved
Ker splat
Fell flat
Clyde drunk
As skunk
Tests muffed
Handcuffed
To jail
No bail
Transport
To court
Demand
Remand
Severe
One year
Oh dear
No beer

On the doorstep with the mail
A letter from the Police
Looking for a male
Who disturbed the peace
My description was a match
I did start to panic
I’m not their prize catch
It’s just a line up and that’s it
I went to the station
To join the line
It was a weird situation
The accused was about 5’9
With a shaved head
Wearing blue jeans
And his top was red
It was like a movie scene
We all stood in a row
I was number two
It wasn’t right from word go
They said “it’s you”
You’re having a laugh
That’s not right
That date I had a bath
And an early night
It wasn’t disturbing the peace
Murder was the case
Believe me please
Look at my face
Why would I kill?
I have no need
I feel ill
My hearts racing at a speed
They took my DNA
And my fingerprints
In the cell I stay
Lots of time to think
Will I get out?
Or on remand?
You can shout and shout
But they won’t answer your demands
To shed a tear
Is only natural
I’m full of fear
I need my family and pals
The door unlocked
The officer walked in
He apologised a lot
It was a misunderstanding
I took my belongings and the case
And began to run
To get from that place
As fast as I can

Grief grips me grim with her handcuffs invisible,
Chief Cop she may be as she stuffs me in her remand,
Brief barely is her self-proclaimed band of friendship,
Relief absent I am stranded, I can’t anymore stand.
Fired up to free from her shackles I work hard,
Tired and troubled I tackle her with my bag of tricks;
Retired I have no desire to break free from her as I stare
Uninspired with Google results that need a million clicks.

Give the Ape his vice, electric device;
And watch him suckle at the Engine’s teet.
Abandoned child of Divine Person’s Thrice
Does see, no more himself, but Death in meat.
A phantom image lays in frame and clutched
By hands no more in contract with the thumb,
that lone appendage barks commands to such
who watch the face reflected turn to drum.
For with each click upon that mirrored man,
In vain, unknowing, strikes to gouge the eyes:
In darkness happ’ly seeks his own remand,
But if in sight the chains appear, not lies.
Yet think not of these things my little lamb,
You have so much to see on Instagram.

Deep within the caverns of my mind
where few imploring souls have ever wandered,
there residing secrets you will find,
and all the deepest thoughts I’ve ever pondered.
Thoughts of happiness and love and life
that wrap around my dreams within my musing;
darker visions fill my thoughts with strife,
the jealousies and greed my life abusing.
Reveries adrift along the wind,
and echoing the thoughts of lust and passion;
feelings that my pride will not rescind;
emotions that my soul will never ration.
I am but a knave of foolish dreams,
these fantasies that ever leave me hoping;
plotting evermore misguided schemes
that leave my hapless spirit merely coping.
Knowing life is built on shifting sand,
I’m keen that some are wanting to undrape me;
therefore these deep secrets I remand,
and never will these deepest thoughts escape me.
