God Hypothesis I

In measuring the Doppler shift of stars,
the universe we see seems to expand,
beginning a grand thought that is not ours:
God and the Big Bang do go hand in hand.
Created, the release of His remand,
the science having declared His demise,
heavens now collapse to a grain of sand,
and infinite, its mass, we are apprised;
earth coalesced in time under His watchful eyes.

One of the tragedies of the 19th and 20th centuries: Science rejecting religion, and religion rejecting science. Why can't people see how complementary they are?! Love your excellent synthesis, Jeff. Carry on!!!!

such thoughts for me are always a delight and here we have well-executed axioms on display....when one contemplates as such how does something come from nothing...more so, it all began where space and time did not exist and yet the very birth brings space and time and more so in this mystery in the quantum world beneath all this space and time do not exist...while i have not one answer...i do stand in awe....wonderful romp in this, thanks
