She, in looking to sate her desires,
Bade me come to quench her summer fires.
The treat white and dreamy
On her tongue was creamy.
Ice cream man, I’ll come as she requires.

Afternoon Went Swimmingly

To the beach I went one hot, hot day,
In search of the cooling ice blue froth!
Refreshment beckoned in the sea spray,
And I lingered until skies turned mauve.

Snow Globe Refreshment

Presenting to the emergency room, patient "BB,"
a dad who swallowed a snow globe carelessly.

Out of ALC, voices crying, "YOLO,"
PO, he took a big gulp of fantasy snow.

NAGI, his stomach churned immediately.
He could hear little elves dancing with a BEG.

Brought to the ER unconscious with HBP,
HAGMA, and tachypnea, unfortunately.

A CT scan revealed a kidney infection.
MDs dispensed

Heat

Sidewalk hot, 
you could fry an egg. 
Arizona summer heat, Phoenix roast factory. 
Sweat pouring off my brow like Noah's flood. 

Sky, light turquoise, tweaked into a 
sun radiant reflective furnace. 
Shimmering down alleyways in unison with overburdened air conditioners. 
Mirage pools in the distance ethereal, 
wavering on blistering roads.

Flowing Refreshment

Titillating drops of pleasure fall,
Showering down, halting tension's thrall.
Soothing warmth massages, eases pain,
Dispatching stressful remnants down the drain.

Caressed by warm pulsating stream,
I surrender myself to lazy dreams.
Imagining I'm in a far off place,
Wrapped in serenity's sweet embrace.

Floral fragrance with mist pirouettes,
Arousing senses, reviving zest.
Scrubbing away all dirt and stress,
I emerge relaxed, at peace, refreshed.
