refreshed and rejuvenated Ready to Clean

Refreshed and rejuvenated, I cleaned my room
Scoured my kettle, tidied up my riding broom
Put spell books in alphabetical order
Rebuilt my back stairs with brick and mortar.

Now I am pooped and have to take a nap.
Curled up in my black cloak and witch’s hat
My familiar is curved up in a ball next to me.
She will lick

THANKFUL, REFRESHED, AND GOLDEN

leaves are still falling
out of my bed i am crawling
if a smile was a dictionary,
it would have a scent of mahogany and amber
peacefully i admire the blessing of a view
that i thought i would never see because of the blue hue
as i go out on the screened in patio

Beyond Despair

     
                 despair 
          heavy, discordant
    stomping, injuring, impeding
  stamina, outlook, impulse, dreams
    refreshing, aiding, inspiriting
  

I felt joyfully refreshed

tranquil unmoving water,
felt it would be cold this early in the morning
my little boat was waiting,
to take me on today’s adventure
My heart was light, I felt joyfully excitedly refreshed

Woke Up, Feeling Refreshed

I woke up, feeling refreshed
I am now in anguish in dread
I woke up, feeling replenished 

Out of my head, I feel out of my head
I sometimes feel dead though instead

Refreshed

I was convinced that the spirit left me 
couldn`t drink my Pepsi
thinking I was poisoned by the Nesle 
gotta get that sugar cane
gunna get some crooked fame
I`m to blame
Runnin` up this hill like I`m game
Say it plain
God in heaven came to make rain
My brain
Feels restored and I`m alive again

O I remember the day, the day my wife died
she was near, yet wasn't by my side
on her last day of life she was so extra sweet a little to quite
I cried on that day
she was near, yet wasn't by my side
I was lead away
I cried on that day (rEFRESHED she rose on into heaven,

Rivulets Refreshed

Look out o'er the water
   thoughts ebb and flow
Stroll down the boardwalk
   miles and miles to go

Reflect and refresh to
   water's eddies and time 
Seeking new rivulets
   of rhythm and rhyme

Refreshed Expectations

A
Brilliant
burst of light
dawns a new day
The present moment
hides the treasure of life
Yesterday is now past tense
The future is beyond our reach
Sunrise breathes refreshed expectations
as we rise to meet the hope that it holds
God's mercies are new each day we awake
Believe in the promise the new day offers you

I rode across the arid desert dunes
Until I came to her oasis
Where greedily I drank
From the deep emerald pools of her eyes.

I really wanted, a refreshing day
Thinking to myself, what was the best way
First some cold water, I splashed on my face
Evidence of sleep, vanished without a trace
I felt my pores shrink, my eyes came awake
Brrr I was so cold, I started to shake

Perhaps a warm shower, was the answer for me
I ran the hot water

Old Memories Refreshed

Fresh memory of first love never fades away
Old memory is like flowers smelt yesterday.

After very long time, I took out my suite
Cornered in the wardrobe on a hanger.
I found a long familiar hair in the collar
That curly hair of a beauty who drew me to her.

An exalting smell
Of the *Bocheron perfume
I do remember.
