the ocean is unfamiliar

the ocean is unfamiliar
i see the aging in the seaweed's expressionism
oh how i love getting reacquainted with an old favorite
change is inevitable despite my imagination's best efforts

the ocean is unfamiliar
i went broke and left broken mirror glass in different spots in the sand
oh how i love catching up with an old loyal friend
change is inevitable despite my self constructed planet's best efforts

the ocean is unfamiliar
i became a victim once again of my own poor decisions and unfortunate pickiness
oh how i love the PeaceFull Feel of Charlie's Unconditional Acceptance and Love
change is forever inevitable despite my dusty wishes spring filled hope's best efforts

Premium MemberThanks To Facebook

Marigold Oger grew up without a mama, this pretty girl with eyes of greenish blue.
Because her mama died unexpectedly in the middle of a dark wet night when she was two.
We met in middle school after we kept laughing at the teacher’s idiocy at the same times.
I sort of have ADHD, the moron told us. “I’m off my meds, but the school board thinks I’m fine.”
By the end of this teacher’s class, Marigold and I were thick as brother bears.
She could spend Friday nights at my house, and she did; we practiced a lot of interesting swears.
She’s a bad influence, my mother said, relieved, when Marigold’s family moved 5.4 hours away.
Thanks to Facebook, we got reacquainted forty-one years later, and we have more in common every day.

Since losing weight, been reacquainted with Oscar
My long time friend, we were my offsprings authors
We joined forces, him and I

Premium MemberWe Shared Chicken Soup

Once worked with a lady named Shirley Chen
Nice to get reacquainted with this sweetie from back then
And the rest of the group
As we shared chicken soup
Promised to meet same place in a year's time again

Hypothesis On Aristocracy

The moon was on its wane
Men enjoying killing animals in sport
Gallery floated by nymphs
Followed by princess and her mates

Hitherto hope sustained,
Anguishes over ruled,
Staggered by sickening quality
Merely were they impeded by malign?
What instinctively I loathed is futility
Wondered, foul villainy will rein?

I dreaded rather a dark pit vaguely
The archenemy of the delicate ones was creeping on apace
Already the suppressed mob had begun
To learn anew, one old repeated lesson
Becoming reacquainted with fear still be seen
I clearly could see the prince of Athena wins

While all remained busy with excitement,
It floated into my mind once again
Is it just stirring up in vain?
As it were by the current of my meditations?
Hypothesis on aristocracy continues,
Mockery on upper class sustains……..

Beached Bare-Foot Prints

BEACHED BARE FOOT PRINTS

My foot prints gladly set to the whetted sands as I stand and whiff the seashore
Missed since last year’s southern holiday visit and just as many times before
It is a good old ‘home week’ that the tides welcoming waves shout to me
And I can see the silly sandpipers flit once more as I stand near-bye suddenly
They race the out-tide for banked treats left on the gleaming wet platter to feed
Quickly before the in tide's wallop mounts closer frothing at its mouth with greed
In and out the tide's wave displays its curling white coils with intoxicating joy
Soothing in spirit, yet have very beast-like tomes of 'command call-backs' that decoy
Me into venturing nearer to just wet my sand covered toes and take the dare
It knows I want to become reacquainted with its wet swirling hot-tub fairway fare
That will tickle and caress me and lick me deeper within and underneath its waters keep
Again I will trick the sea and surface surprised and happy to be ducked in its wet deep.

I Could Not Care Less

Now you say your love for me
has somehow reached its end.
You don't want to be my lover
but you'd love to be my friend.

There's just one thing I must say
one thing I must confess.
No matter friend or lover
I could not care less.

So as we go our separate ways
and you find somebody new.
All alone and lonely
I'll still be loving you.

In your search to find yourself
and all your happiness.
I just need for you to know
that I could not care less.

Always on my heart and mind
I'll sometimes call your name.
You'll be loving someone else
while my love stays the same.

Friends may come and friends may go
and my life become a mess.
It's like I told you long ago
I could not care less.

So somewhere down the road a ways
some old friend do you see.
In getting reacquainted
should they ever ask of me.

You need not give an answer
but if instead they press.
You just smile the way you do
tell them I could not care less.

Estranged

To myself I say this.
Oh I do wish.
Everything was the same.
We are both the blame.

Where have you been?it has been so long.
So much has changed.
You did me wrong
I don't know you no more,we are estranged.

Life seemed to swallow you up.
I wasn't there to guide you
We both caused the disrupt.
Do you miss me?I do.

Maybe we can get reacquainted.
Become whole again.
I know well always feel tainted
But I need a friend.

I'll except you wrong or not.
I need you!you are all that I got.

Where To Now

In the distance beyond the mirror.
What reflections will appear?
When the fog does dissipate.
We can only hope we're not too late.

Will we find our selves in memory's lost?
Or we can't afford yesterday's cost.
The heart sometimes, never forget's.
And can get so heavy with it's regrets.

The shore's are drifting out to sea.
Each grain of sand takes part of me.
The ocean's filled with all my tears.
As I set my sail toward my last years.

I wait now for that solemn sign.
To tell me this directions mine.
I wish I could go back and change.
The road that now seems oh so strange.

The mystery is slowly painted.
As new found hope get's reacquainted.
On paths that we've not traveled yet.
These years before our last sunset.

Dippy

serendipity sure has had a bad temper lately

she is getting crotchety and harder to please
as her years are advancing

always demanding newer and better discoveries
at the expense
of your
last nerve

but she keeps on teaching you things

like,
you need to get reacquainted with yourself
have confidence in your abilities
look for the fortunate chance
that accompanies our
daily lives
despite
the
grind

serendipity keeps us on our toes

The Pod Casts'

Listen, They cry,
Voters beat the bullies,
Check out the latest shock jock,
Red eyes, pub snacks,
Dodgy hair and drunkenness,
Infected crime and spared avoiding Spam,
Busy wallowing in profundity.
Debating taunt,
Dancing the winnable extreme super yacht,
Having a dreadful across,’ the pod casts’
Randomness the cultural generated thingies.
Swapping the spray,
Got a warm fuzzy parenting,
For an old pair of socks,
Cuddly cowboys.
Artistic collaboration,
Evil culprits documentary,
Mysteries of love,
Listings for the beach,
Gym bunnies.
Futurological into Satan’s mythology,
Turn out walls,
Playing irrationally exuberant.
The fancy bare-naked robots,
Beefcake or cheesecake burglar,
Abduction for a noble cause,
Wonderful gun jokes
Retrieval disappearing.
Reacquainted play poker,
Effective humour,
Jet packs and heavy weight flaming,
Lifetime gifted ideas,
Bonfire night,
Shiny furthering.
A wireless honeymoon,
Non-desirable Commitment.
Daily practiced Motions
Experienced bribery and favoritism,
Dreamt of a Global village.
