Soul is the dweller of our heart
Feel the ecstasy and essence.
Supreme soul to make me alert
just assuring its existence.
In birth-death-after life, soul shines.
Soul is the dweller of our heart.
Staying in heart, soul to brighten
our path, never leaving apart.
Soul holds the power to exert
in trouble, grief or any need.
Soul is the dweller of our heart.
Soul entwines me : It's fact, indeed.
Similar to essence of Sun :
Essence of the soul to impart.
Energy of soul sure to run -
Soul is the dweller of our heart.
Kingdom come, but I first must die
Thankfully, life here does not last.
Though pain and grief can make me cry,
one day they’ll all be in my past.
Some sorrows seem like forever.
Kingdom come, but I first must die,
and this is my hope, for never
can I stay as when I once was spry.
Some plans of mine have gone awry.
Slower do I walk than before.
Kingdom come, but first I must die.
Then – and only then – will I soar.
It matters not my bones get old
because I know one day I’ll fly
to where God’s glory I’ll behold.
Kingdom come, but I first must die.
The betrayal of innocence
leads to emotional collapse.
A fledgling heart flexes its wings;
before its flight feathers get clipped.
Nothing's as devastating as
the betrayal of innocence.
Songbirds cease to sing cheery songs,
and suddenly words take on weight.
Your world is a less friendly place
for you now see life's ugly side.
The betrayal of innocence
feels like death from a thousand cuts.
Trust is no longer free of doubt:
and once broken, can't be restored.
A fearful heart cannot forgive
the betrayal of innocence.

Eyes closing as the day grows late,
you've waged your war on sleep and lost
And in my arms, your puppy weight
secures my love at any cost
Full grown, you commandeer my bed,
eyes closing as the day grows late
and pinned beneath your golden head,
I'm helpless to negotiate
When years and aging joints mandate
you climb into my bed no more,
eyes closing as the day grows late,
I feel for you down on the floor
The best Friend I will ever meet
No Boy so good has lived, to date
I tell you so and watch your sweet
eyes closing as the day grows late

Seek shelter if you want to live,
when a tornado touches down.
Swirling, spinning winds launch debris
that's strewn through the air like shrapnel.
When whirling winds out-roar a train,
seek shelter if you want to live.
Spiraling down from pitch-black clouds
an ebony scythe cuts a track.
Every building is torn apart
and flattened beyond description.
Seek shelter if you want to live;
Mother Nature doesn't know mercy.
Storms are beyond mortal control,
and tornados are proof of that.
Upon that realization,
seek shelter if you want to live.
A citrine leaf in lingered lilt
did savor breeze of sapphire whisk
and Autumn’s honey-secrets spilt.
A hopscotch star.. an ember brisk,
she sighed and fell— then took her chance!
a citrine leaf in lingered lilt
with wind-a-whirl in saffron dance,
below the western-cirrus gilt.
Before the winds began to wilt
and aspen whispers rose a wail,
a citrine leaf in lingered lilt
did fly where camp-fire-clouds grew pale,
where songs are spun from angel dreams,
their rapture wrapped her like a quilt,
no longer needing rhinestone streams,
a citrine leaf in lingered lilt.
Death holds promise of renewal
Beauteous autumn stirs our soul
God enlivens life pulse dual
Shape of form shifts, yet we feel whole
Take a cue from the fallen leaf
Death holds promise of renewal
Let’s outgrow conditioned belief
With love and light, heart refuel
Our heart contains a prized jewel
To cognise it, simply be still
Death holds promise of renewal
On ego death, voids within fill
Autumn reveals resurrection
New life springs without a duel
With God’s love form a connection
Death holds promise of renewal
War does not determine who is right - only who is left. - Bertrand Russell
It’s a darkness so sad and grim,
Dreams destroyed by the bleakest sins,
It’s more than loss of life and limb
World War isn’t just about who wins
Homes are ruined and lives are wrecked
It’s a darkness so sad and grim,
Death in each shadow or suspect
Was this war started on a whim?
Here at home, we all sing a hymn
For those soldiers who will not live
It’s a darkness so sad and grim,
Warriors, hearts and souls they give
Though we sought peace, our hope was lost
Beneath seas of pain, our souls swim
Glumly fighting despite the cost
It’s a darkness so sad and grim,
Take me to Nirvana . . . but wait.
There’s still so much to do right here
in this place, my earthly estate.
To finish, I’ll need one more year.
Or maybe a decade I’ll need!
Take me to Nirvana . . . but wait.
Am I prepared to be freed?
To face death first, then meet my fate?
I think I haven’t a clean slate.
More decades I’ll need – two or three.
Take me to Nirvana . . . but wait.
Will bliss even be greeting me?
My mind can’t fathom such great bliss
in this world so crazed filled with hate.
Yet home is home. I’m used to this!
Take me to Nirvana . . . but wait.

Title #3: Take Me to Nirvana
Beautiful
Oh autumn leaves you’re beautiful
As you are lifted by God’s breath
Your colours sing His Majesty
Those special moments before death
Fluttering from branches on high
Oh autumn leaves You’re beautiful
The richness of your crimson red
Like blood that stained our Saviour’s wool
Yellows bright as the morning Sun
Orange and purple against sky blue
Oh autumn leaves you’re beautiful
You will return to dust that’s true
When white covers your resting place
Time may not seem so merciful
Still you hold the gaze of my eyes
Oh autumn leaves you’re beautiful.

UNITY
Consciousness flows in unity
Self realisation of sole soul:
Universal fraternity.
Cycle of life and death to roll.
Incarnation! Re-incarnation!
Consciousness flows in unity.
Multiple manifestation
shows sublime serene sanity.
Continuum continuity.
Above your self, impersonal.
Consciousness flows in unity.
Divinity: Etherial.
Conserved energy!Transcendence:
Unity in diversity
overflowing in opulence.
Consciousness flows in unity.

Oh, death be gentle and be kind
whenever you shall come for me,
for one day you shall be assigned
to set my soul from body free.
Please do not be a reaper grim.
Oh, death, be gentle and be kind.
When light inside my eyes grows dim,
the great beyond I soon shall find.
Yes, I’ll be following behind
to where it is that you might lead.
Oh, death be gentle and be kind.
Don’t torture me or make me bleed.
Please take me swiftly without pain.
Let peace and joy then be entwined
and lift me to a higher plane.
Oh, death be gentle and be kind.
Some broken hearts will never mend
for souls are swept by varied storms-
loss of sweet love and lives that end-
heartache comes in different forms.
Along my way today I found
some broken hearts will never mend;
everywhere fractured lives abound
with grief we cannot comprehend.
They struggle to the bitter end
wearing their happy disguises;
some broken hearts will never mend
and they come in many sizes.
It could be you, it could be me,
the soul whose heartache does not end
so let kindness your watchword be;
some broken hearts will never mend.

Born in Earth now without any baggage.
Enjoyed childhood in carefree attitude.
Drove car of life out of parent’s garage
as youth sang on high pitch in interlude.
Started to pick either pebbles or gems.
Born in Earth now without any baggage.
Sometimes achieved fame, sometimes put in blame.
All are collected, protected in package.
Tasted bitterness, relished beverage
Accessed success, experienced defeat.
Born in Earth now without any baggage
Love stored in my trove, also took deceit.
In last phase duties are completed too.
Then to release emotional bondage.
After crossing death point, me ready to
born in Earth again without any baggage.
Reborn here now without baggage-
since this, my final day came round;
pure, within my spirit package-
I go with joy, now heaven-bound.
I leave behind my weighty shell;
reborn here now without baggage,
and pray to God, I used it well
so He now grants me safe passage.
He lifts my soul, free from damage,
to take me home where I belong.
Reborn here now without baggage-
His angels greet me with a song.
And at the gate, my loved ones who
before me, passed- with love, manage
our long-awaited rendezvous;
reborn here now without baggage.
