Betrayal Of Innocence

The betrayal of innocence leads to emotional collapse. A fledgling heart flexes its wings; before its flight feathers get clipped. Nothing's as devastating as the betrayal of innocence. Songbirds cease to sing cheery songs, and suddenly words take on weight. Your world is a less friendly place for you now see life's ugly side. The betrayal of innocence feels like death from a thousand cuts. Trust is no longer free of doubt: and once broken, can't be restored. A fearful heart cannot forgive the betrayal of innocence.

and yet all conflicts must be healed by love alone, by unconditional forgiveness, Ho’oponopono perhaps, else life after life, roles will rotate, in the deluded quest for revenge
