Take Me To Nirvana
Take me to Nirvana . . . but wait.
There’s still so much to do right here
in this place, my earthly estate.
To finish, I’ll need one more year.
Or maybe a decade I’ll need!
Take me to Nirvana . . . but wait.
Am I prepared to be freed?
To face death first, then meet my fate?
I think I haven’t a clean slate.
More decades I’ll need – two or three.
Take me to Nirvana . . . but wait.
Will bliss even be greeting me?
My mind can’t fathom such great bliss
in this world so crazed filled with hate.
Yet home is home. I’m used to this!
Take me to Nirvana . . . but wait.
