Take Me To Nirvana

Take me to Nirvana . . . but wait. There’s still so much to do right here in this place, my earthly estate. To finish, I’ll need one more year. Or maybe a decade I’ll need! Take me to Nirvana . . . but wait. Am I prepared to be freed? To face death first, then meet my fate? I think I haven’t a clean slate. More decades I’ll need – two or three. Take me to Nirvana . . . but wait. Will bliss even be greeting me? My mind can’t fathom such great bliss in this world so crazed filled with hate. Yet home is home. I’m used to this! Take me to Nirvana . . . but wait. Sept. 20, 2022 for Edward Ibeh's Pick-A-Title, Vol 32 - Poetry Contest Title #3: Take Me to Nirvana

I really like your accurate descriptions of the indicision most if not all go through as their time seems to come. The images you paint of our times seem so true. Nirvana, a state of bliss, would be so overwhelming that I would choose to go without regret. We'll never be able to please everyone left behind, so I'd sent blessings and transend. :-) Thanks for sharing your beautiful and eloquent poetry with us my friend. Hugs, Bill

Enjoyable and just the way most humans Will react regarding moving on ' But; yet, if What.' It's not like we have any strong input at That point... God is carrying out His will I Could put duty almost.' For He does give a lot Of what we ask for..Many have for years Said they didn't want anything to do with Him So... He would release you to the opposite Side, they will have chosen just that Anyway '

When it comes to leaving our corporeal existence, we are all hesitant and we ask for more time to finish our activities here. A beautiful poem Andrea!
