Beautiful
Beautiful
Oh autumn leaves you’re beautiful
As you are lifted by God’s breath
Your colours sing His Majesty
Those special moments before death
Fluttering from branches on high
Oh autumn leaves You’re beautiful
The richness of your crimson red
Like blood that stained our Saviour’s wool
Yellows bright as the morning Sun
Orange and purple against sky blue
Oh autumn leaves you’re beautiful
You will return to dust that’s true
When white covers your resting place
Time may not seem so merciful
Still you hold the gaze of my eyes
Oh autumn leaves you’re beautiful.
