“Dragons don’t live up to the talk. 
I’ll find a way to fix the wagon”,
Opined the jealous Jabberwock,
“Of the scaly, lummox dragon.” 

This foul fiend then, most inhumanely, 
Pausing to munch a trembling snack
As his mind careened insanely,
Planned to seize the Chinese Zodiac.

“I’ll knock that lizard off his perch
Atop the Eastern horoscope,
But I must also

Self-Love Has Been Preserved

For even you have heard
Bless your birth
Down here on earth
Bless be your eyes
Your heart painted our skies
You are the first
Journey finding was worth
Created lands
Your loving hands
You see
Far beneath
Indeed You hear
Through each tear
It shows

A thing for tomorrow reserved
Is a thing for today preserved:
The still-unused has not one served
The pleasure from saving: 'Deserved'

With things for tomorrow reserved
One's strength has been, somehow, conserved
And - some don't know - one's health preserved;
For tomorrows pains drugs reserved.

The Reserved is often preserved
And, there, waits to have you soon served!

A canopy of flowers
     'neath a shady bower

   Exquisite weather
     for a life together

that's why I cultivated the flowers garden
that's why I made fly the crimson pigeon on the blue sky
that's why I drawn the sinuous white clouds in my canvas
that's why I lit up the muted evening light

On a smoky grey October dusk
ensnared by a timeless musk
my heart met those dulcet tides
