A power plant or a powder room? Your choice
Crap!
One of those dreams again.
I had already had one of these last Thursday.
Isn’t there a limit or something?
I knew if I chose the wrong one
I could end up boiled in strawberry Jell-O
or
my teeth could be pulled out by rusty pliers.
I choose planetarium, I said smartly.
Found myself trampled by a swarthy buffalo a few seconds later.

A silence
Drawing
Drudging
Driving
Drumming
Drilling
Louder than
A drone
Rushing like a river
A mill
A power plant
In a hurry
Wild with fury
Roaring past
Resounding
Late for the
End of time

A Harmless Creature is the Ant,
Until it crawls inside your pant,
Or invites itself to your picnic table,
Intending your little picnic to disable.
And of course, there's always the kitchen floor
That it ruins in waves of "zillions more."
Yes, a harmless creature is the ant,
---As harmless as a nuclear power plant.

Power plant particled poison
People breathing pints per person
Pending paramedic pursuit
Pushing poppies past the pigment

Tesla what in the hell did they do to you.
They stole your ideas and then they left you,
Sitting with nothing they stole your dreams.
They took your gadgets and your machines.
Edison admitted he should not have let you go.
The biggest mistake that he would ever know.
At the 1893 Worlds Fair your talent shined.
When you lit up the world with your light design.
You and Westinghouse were quite a team.
Going to build a Power Plant till gold convened.
The richest man in America he took control.
In this venture J. P. Morgan played the title role.
You had almost 300 patents in your name.
Most of them would be unrecognized with no acclaim.
It would be a few more years before you are known.
For contributions that were your own.
So Mr Nikola Tesla here’s to you.
The fame you would receive you never knew.
I guess better late than never I hope Edison knows.
The spoils of the battle to the victor goes.

Las Vegas, big win. The coins are flying.
Casino is broke. Heart attacks. Someone's dying.
On Power Plant two teenagers were playing.
With buttons and wires, just pushing and cutting ;-D

The deer's house bears no human heads upon it's walls.
No grizzly bear was ever fined for trashing the forest.
No gorilla ever built a nuclear power plant, nor split the atom.
You will never see a Bass snag a 160 pound human on it's line.
Slaughter houses are not run by cows, pigs or chickens;
you can't buy “human-burgers”.
No crack-buzzed rabbit or squirrel has ever been arrested.
No cats have ever "trashed" a rest stop or public park.
I have never seen a white sheep,
burn a cross on a black sheep's pasture land.
No dolphin ever buried a land-mine on the ocean floor.
Not one NASA Astro-Chimp has ever, knowingly,
blown up a shuttle full of it's own species or any other.
There are no records of lions, tigers or elephants
burning temples or synagogues.
And yet, we have the audacity to call them...
"Dumb-Animals"!

This was the first of its kind in history.
However, nobody was killed here, thankfully.
We were just able to avoid a great catastrophe.
A nuclear power plant is situated in Pennsylvania.
It lies on an island on the river called Susquehanna.
Supplying electricity to the region is its chore.
The river water is needed to cool the nuclear reactor core.
A malfunction led to a partial core meltdown.
Increased radioactivity could have threatened a nearby town.
This is one of the dangers of modern technology.
There could be a high price paid by you and me.
